Pupils across Wales are experiencing a new dimension in the way sport and physical activity is delivered in secondary schools. At St John Lloyd, the Young Ambassador Movement links in with the 5×60 Scheme, where the decision has been made to recruits Sports Ambassadors and Sports Apprentices. There are currently four Ambassadors from year 11 who will represent the school on a county level and the eight Apprentices from year 9 will help promote sport and be the voice of Sport in school. The Young Ambassador Movement is part of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics promise where Young Ambassadors are used to inspire change in others.
