Monopoly meets Sonic the Hedgehog: this Monopoly gamer board game features Sonic the Hedgehog series themes, art, and characters Growing up, I didn't have any friends. Everyone in my village thought my two tails were weird. [ Sonic: Hey, I know that feeling.] But then I saw you; the fastest creature in the galaxy. You were weird too, but you were a legend. That made me think, maybe being weird isn't so bad. You inspired me to leave my village, to find you and help you on your mission. Honestly I must be the one person around like this, but I like traditional Monopoly. I really do. On the rare occasions I actually succeed in talking people into playing it with me, we usually have a lot of fun. I used to love playing with my parents and grandparents. My father had the Ford Mustang edition and we played many times. I had the base game. I always wanted the old Star Wars one based on the original movies that someone I knew in school had, but by that point it was old and collectors had driven the price through the roof... Cheese comes bundled with Eggman as a little keychain! Curiously, it would seem as if only some were given the red bowtie and smiley mouth. Others just look like regular neutral chao. What's going on here? It's possible the decision to make the chao resemble Cheese was an idea they had after the initial release.

This looks to be an official set image for a line of Sonic Adventure figures - but unfortunately, none of them were ever released. What a shame, as they include 3 diverse Chao figures! A NiGHTS Chao, a neutral Chao, and a neutral run. They even appear to have animal parts! The origin of this image is unknown, and it seems to be the only image of this set available. I'm confident more must exist, hopefully in better quality so we can really take a look at the level of detail. There is a regular Sonic Monopoly too if you have to have the classic gameplay. This is a nice alternative though.

While SA1 had the Neutral Chao and NiGHTS Chao, only the Hero Chao was made for SA2. This Hero Chao was only available in Japan and is also very hard to find now. There is an image for a Dark Chao plush seen on the web during the SA2 era but it was never for sale... Also, people like to use a bunch of broken houserules that screw up the game economy. Which makes the game virtually unplayable, and can be impossible to finish in a reasonable time. Not to mention, they forget the property auction rule. Which fills the board up faster. The vast majority of people I played it with were just taught to play it wrong. Rachel: Randall, why do all of your friends have weapons? [The priest reveals a taser inside his book] Son of a… Was the florist an agent? How about the photographer?! The woman who waxed my… At the spa? Is Jojo an agent? Randall: Rachel. Jojo: What? Randall: Rachel, listen to me. (I can explain.) Rachel: [fully enraged] (NO!!) I'M DONE LISTENING! I AM DONE LISTENING!!! (WE'RE THROUGH!! DO YOU HEAR ME?! THROUGH!!) Randall: I am so sorry, I am so sorry. I really am. I am so sorry. Sonic, taking care of yourself is not what being a hero is all about. It's about taking responsibility for other people. And now, whether you wanna hear this or not, you are still just a kid. You got some more growing up to do before you're ready to be a hero. Trust me, there will come a time when your powers will be needed. But you don't choose that moment. That moment chooses you.
