Meline is strongly defined as a diva, being dramatic and fussy with nearly everything. She is also very demanding and wants things done her way, often taking the leader role for The Rainbow Divas. Despite this, she has a softer side, as she cares about her close friends. Nice Girl: Despite the varied attitudes the runaway group gave to her upon arrival, Amaya remains kind-hearted and successfully makes better relations with them in "Amaya's Discovery".

Graceful Ladies Like Purple: Her signature color is purple, and she is among one of the more feminine characters. Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Like her fellow As she can act sassy and rude, but as it’s her duty as a supervising upperclassmen she does aid the first-years sometimes. All of The Rainbow Divas' first outfits appear to pay homage to the dramatic stage gowns often worn by the legendary 1960s Motown group, The Supremes, especially the lead singer Diana Ross. The group appears to parody The Supremes, also having three members with one standing out among the rest. Chekhov's Gunman: Introduced outside the main runway group, and becomes one of the main characters in the series halfway.

Jade doesn’t like those who hurt her friends. If it weren’t for the others present she would likely confront Colin herself physically.Evil Costume Switch: When she announces during the Shadow High ceremony that she is leaving Rainbow High, the lights turn off and on to reveal that her Rainbow High look has now been swapped out for an edgier Shadow High outfit. Main Characters: These characters are the original core 6: while there have been new and old additions to the group, these characters have always stayed true to the group. Coco Vanderbalt is a 2022-introduced and all-around character. She is a student at Rainbow High that focuses in Digital Media. Coco Vanderbalt is ALWAYS networking, always on the phone and always on to the next big thing. She has an eye and ear for great talent, and her goal in life is to be the best agent, manager, promoter and hype-woman the world has ever seen. Get in good with her, and you're set for LIFE. She's an incredible artist and knows how to use her skills to art direct and connect students together for big, incredible projects. Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Amaya's second look is the most alike to Rainbow Dream of the previous series.
