Edit: (original score 90) so I’ve been writing a “Worst to Best” for this album and it’s resulted in me giving this album a TON of listens.

This makes it super confusing as to figure out where I actually am in a song, with both grooves sitting on top of eachother. Kanye West turns up, literally, on “Piss On Your Grave,” The Weeknd’s stunning falsetto punctuates the airy “Pray 4 Love,” Justin Bieber and Young Thug assist on the wonderfully intoxicating “Maria I’m Drunk,” and Juicy J turns “Wasted” into an anthem, among others. Rodeo is Travis Scott’s long awaited debut album following his first two mixtapes, Owl Pharaoh and Days Before Rodeo, released on September 4th, 2015. I like collecting, but the vinyl this record doesn't even look good, very bad finish of the product.This album contains appearances from Big Sean, Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, PeeWee Longway and The 1975. I put it in my library on spotify and come back to it in a few weeks or months when my ADHD frees me from whatever music fixation i’m on (Which happens a lot). This would make a decent collector's item if you're a huge Travis fan, but don't expect it to sound good. The best part too is not just that it’s so near perfect, it’s the fact that this came out the same time as and held up against staples like TPAB, DS2, At. I have some pretty serious issues with the way some of these songs are mixed feeling all over the place, but for the most part it's not horrible.

I., the album twists and turns through a cavernous deluge of impeccable and impenetrable rapping from TRAVIS and entrancing soundscapes. Wasn't on colored vinyl which is what I was expecting but needlees to say it sounds great and looks great. The sound quality is really good, there is a slight skip towards the end of "The Prayer" but the rest of the vinyl sounds great. Yes, the production is great and Scott puts together some good hooks, but he never puts forth a cohesive statement of voice. Be it increased confidence, clout or just spending more time with generation defining musicians, he has found a way to stay true to his sound while all along exploring newfound sonic and musical territory.The only reason why I wouldn’t rate this album a perfect 10 is simply because there’s still a level of which this album still is partially lacking on execution of how it handles its concept, but it’s not to an extent to where this album is any less enjoyable for a listen than a perfect 10. Vote up content that is on-topic, within the rules/guidelines, and will likely stay relevant long-term. The production is 11/10 on every song, features are great, lyrics are great on some tracks but lets be honest you didn't come for lyrics. My pressing has lots of surface noise and the vocals have horrible distortion to them, especially on Pray 4 Love and Flying High with all the effects, autotune, etc.
