When it comes to another installment in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, of course you are. This is the end of an era with it being James Gunn’s last Guardians (and Marvel) movie. At least, for the time being. Never say “never,” right? It took about two months for the Doctor Strange sequel to go from theaters to DVD. The third Ant-Man movie took three months earlier this year. We’re possibly looking at something similar to the latter, which will put the Guardians 3 release date as around Tuesday, Aug. 1. With the movie only just out in theaters, it won’t be surprising to hear that there isn’t a DVD release date just yet. We can look at other Marvel movies to get an idea as to when to expect this. For the sake of this post, we’re looking at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumiania. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is certainly the end of an era in the Marvel universe. When can you add the DVD and Blu-ray to your collection?
