Horizon Extreme is thus for me a thoroughly interesting fragrance in the opening, but from the first hour then unwearable. In no way comparable with Horizon. Too bad! After an hour, it is still fruity, but spicier thereby become. Warscheinlich, because now the ginger comes through. The silage is now but clearly decreases. A fragrance that must definitely be dosed high. In terms of performance, the Terre is there clearly better. Smoothly, that prelude moves over to a creamy and woody cedar, which well combines with the earthy vetiver. The sillage calms down a bit, though it stays around your arms, not a skin scent yet. That is the heart, which seems to last forever, definitely quite a few hours.

After six hours, the performance is then at the end. The annoying sweetness is now gone. In the skin close area, it has now become woody-smoky, which makes it very interesting for me. But unfortunately much too late. So I would have liked him from the beginning. Unlike so many others, I quite like "Horizon". But it is too weak on the chest for me. Desshalb I have (and still hope) for a "Intense" of it, which also deserves this definition. This could be brilliant.... And then comes the soul, a pleasant and relaxing bitter cocoa like the pure one you can meet in the finest dark chocolate, which gives a gourmand vibe to the earthiness of the vetiver.It starts out fruity, as expected, while also being unexpectedly smoky. That is already interesting. So when Horizon Extreme showed up, I was hoping to encounter the more intense Horizon here. And then when I saw Pyramid, it could have been even more interesting for my tastes than Horizon. Alas, that was not the case!

Further, this jewel is on par with Terre d'Hermés, which has been my favorite signature scent, and to my skin and nose, they are two scents apart. Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani is a classic luxury perfume for men that has been loved by millions for over 25 years. It is a fresh, aquatic fragrance that is perfect for any occasion. The top notes of bergamot, lemon, and grapefruit are invigorating and refreshing, while the middle notes of jasmine, rose, and oakmoss are sensual and inviting. The base notes of amber, musk, and cedarwood are warm and inviting. The Extreme version starts off fruity-citric with sour, sharp notes, which are probably due to the ginger. Soon woody notes of cedar, sandalwood and cypriol will be added. The latter is said to be reminiscent of eagle wood and is probably also responsible for the slightly balsamic, which resonates in the fragrance. I like the mixture of fruity-edged and woody aromas very much here. Clearly the fragrance is not free of synthetics and no spawn of complexity, but as an all-rounder it is certainly more than passable.Like Terre de Hermes, Davidoff Horizon is a good change of pace from the aquatic, citrusy and herbaceous "freshis". Because of their fruitiness, however, I see both more at home in late summer and early fall.
