Description

If you like making fun of weird animations and enjoy creepy animated faces this is THE MOVIE for you. Narrator – Soon another family came to the forest and they looked at all the trees too. They didn’t want a great big tree and they didn’t want a small tree. They saw a tree that was just right! Family – tune of Muffin Man Villainy-Free Villain: The only bad thing Girthmore does is throw out Little Light, which he couldn't have known was alive. So its unfestive to throw out lightbulbs that are clearly broken now? Just in case they are magic? And can sing songs where the lyrics make no sense? And Mr Girthmore crawled a journey normally taken by car, in a blizzard, because he could see a light in a house window? Alliterative Name: Two characters have names that start with the same letter: "Little Light" and "Jonathan Jeepers"

After the beginning narration, the Maggie dolls (named after Timothy's mother) and Timothy's father are never brought up again. THE LITTLEST LIGHT ON THE CHRISTMAS TREE is a timeless story of wonder and the power of believing. Adapted from the award winning animated film featuring Emmy and Tony award winners JANE SEYMOUR and JAMES NAUGHTON, the story of Little Light comes to life in this enchanting, heartwarming holiday musical. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WesternAnimation/TheLittlestLightOnTheChristmasTree Follow ing Western Animation / That’s what we need, that’s what we need. Narrator – It was starting to get dark, and the stars were coming out in the night sky. The stars knew that Christmas Night was the birth of a special baby and they had a big job to do. The stars were going to tell the shepherds about the baby Jesus lying in a manger. All Children – Baby Jesus – Finger playHeel–Face Turn: Mr. Girthmore, after he realized that Little Light wasn't useless after he was guided to Timothy's house The Voiceless: Most of the ornaments that came to life are entirely devoid of talking or making sound, except for Little Light, who sang his musical number, and the ballerina ornament, who let out a brief cry when she and the other ornaments think that Little Light is dead.

For some unknown reason my awareness of this film has always remained at the forefront of my mind and god knows why because I can genuinely remember 1 (one) frame of it. Bowdlerise: There is a version of this film that removes the song numbers except for the theme song, thus making the film shorter, but it was only released in some international countries . Overly Narrow Superlative: Mrs. Wiggins is Mr. Goodley's favourite doll maker. His only doll maker. Those Two Guys: Mr. Girthmore and Mr. Jeepers are barely separated, since they're cousins. Same goes to The Colonel and Watley. Blind Without 'Em: When Mr. Girthmore looses his glasses during the winter storm, he complains that he can't see without them. Thankfully, Mr. Jeepers found his money and his glasses when trying to look for him.Unexplained Accent: Timothy's mother speaks in a British accent, since she was voiced by a British actress, even though Timothy and Melissa speak in neutral accents like everyone else. And yes, there is a character called Mr Girthmore who sings a song called 'All About the Girth' which features the line 'There's no greater joy on Earth, than using my money to increase my girth'.

The Singing Mute: For most of the movie, Little Light hasn't said a word, not even to Timothy. Although, later on in the movie, he ends up singing a musical number, complete with a decent singing voice.

A short multiple choice quiz about events in the film. This quiz is fully voiced, intended for children and takes the form of a quiz that it is impossible to lose - i.e. the player is told at the start that there is no downside to selecting the wrong answer and that they should keep on trying until they remember the right answer. The quiz can be played and replayed but the questions do not change. Animate Inanimate Object: Little Light and the other ornaments are Christmas ornaments that magically came to life. Now the general story is okay. the animation however if creepy and strange and that was not the effect they were going for. The story however comes to a complete stop when a 3rd rate score comes on and the characters break into song. To this day I believed this film was a nightmare as a child, now fully realising it was real will forever haunt me. I'm giving it a 0.5 just so it doesn't haunt me in my sleep.Narrator – Long ago in the forest there were 3(or they can be as many as you want) beautiful Fir Trees. These 3 fir trees hoped that someday they would be Christmas Trees. They were very patient and each day they grew and grew (Trees walk up to the front. Trees will stay up front.)
