That part is irrelevant; I used the local apps and frequently connect it to wi-fi signals at home and lots of other places. never had a problem with it.Clarity of the screen for reading - It is very easy to read Kindle books and eBooks on this tablet. And I place the tablet inside my case/stand and read in landscape, it is very easy to read on it this way. The tablet just sits in my lap for easy reading. Screen Resolution/Weight/Size etc - The first thing I noticed is that this tablet has 149 PPI-Pixels----however, what I discovered is that the screen is very, very clear and the colors are spectacular! The screen is absolutely beautiful! RESULT for me: It is that much clearer and vivid screen than I thought it would be with truly amazing clarity! EXTERNAL SLOT FOR MICRO SD CARD up to 64GB This is a must for me as I keep my personal files, photos, and music on my internal SD card. Note that this was one of the deciding factors that sold me on this tablet. I installed a SanDisk 32GB SD card and it works great on this tablet. Battery Life- Very good to excellent. Since I have done a few tweaks on this tablet, now I have found that my battery life is better than the first and even the second day. In fact, the battery life now I find that when I use WiFi just when I need it, I now get about 7 to 8 hours with it(this reflects 100 percent brightness however).
