As a series, this is probably closer to 4.5 stars (with some issues down to 3 stars), but I love the whole thing so much.... Son of Wayne Enterprises tech guru Lucius Fox, young Luke Fox is brilliant, brave, and rebellious—and now, he’s the newest member of Batman, Inc.! When the original Batwing walks away from crime-fighting, the Dark Knight recruits Luke to take up the mantle as a global representative in the war on crime. His assignments as the Batman’s newest agent will take him from Africa to Italy to a side of Gotham City that he’s never imagined. The cops of Gotham City have it rough, what with the spectre of Batman looming over them. In this massive tome, the cops of the Gotham City Major Crimes Unit have their hands full with Mr. Freeze, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Doctor Alchemy, and others, all the while trying not to involve a certain Dark Knight Detective. THUNDERBOLTS (1997) #144-174 and #163.1, DARK AVENGERS (2012) #175-190 and material from ENTER THE HEROIC AGE #1

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1999) #515-545, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN (2005) #1-4 and #24, MARVEL KNIGHTS SPIDER-MAN (2004) #19-22, SENSATIONAL SPIDER-MAN (2006) #41, SPIDER-MAN: THE OTHER SKETCHBOOK and SPIDER-MAN: ONE MORE DAY SKETCHBOOK The story of Poison Ivy killing the two crooked cops because they remorselessly killed a runaway girl was hard-core! I did not expect that to happen, so it was nice to see a form of 'justice' being meted out to these two crooked cops. It was a crazy moment in the series, and I could not believe I found myself 'rooting' for Ivy as she took them out. Granted, she was caring for a bunch of other orphans and runaways who also lived in the park; she considered all of them to be under her protection, which was a strange change-of-pace, as I had always understood her to believe that humans were a disease infecting 'Mother Earth' and needed to be eradicated. So, it was a 'more humanizing' appearance for (of) her than I expected, and made her more sympathetic to me, at that moment.
