What I love more about this book is that the main characters are dealing with different situations, we get to see how they face it and I wonder how can they survive it as the story progress. The other books do not need to be read first, but Kiss to a Shatter and Kiss to Salvage need to be read back to back. Jade is still very much affected by the death of her mother, and Prescott is hiding secrets about his family.I knew Jade had been through a lot and Prescott seemed like the typical college guy and even though I suffered with everything, I loved learning about their past and how both had lots of demons to face. Jade realizes that the time has come to share the fight she has in front of her not only to Prescott but to her brother and friends as well. I love a good enemies to lovers story and this one is exactly what I like, great characters, a good plot line and a chemistry that is just undeniable. He is going through a difficult time himself both when it comes to family and football, and they find a kindred spirit in each other.

Kiss To Shatter is a quality contemporary romance that I’m happily recommending to fellow romance readers. Kiss to Shatter is a brothers best friend, enemies to lovers romance with alot of steam and alot of emotion. But nothing is easy and if they truly want a chance at happiness they both have to work for it and grow, both alone and together.But they also just might be the only ones who can really help and understand what they are going through. I'm trying so hard not to give away any spoilers, but just know this is not your usual lighthearted romance. Prescott was Nixon’s best friend and he was very easygoing and friendly but thanks to his injury we started seeing a different side of him. Never knowing when the other shoe was going to drop for either of them had me on edge, but that’s a sign of good writing. As much as she doesn’t want to face it she knows that she must focus on herself and that means that she and Prescott must distance themselves from each other as being together will only devastate them both.
