Paul Schrader is a filmmaker obsessed with contradiction, often pairing unlikely groups of themes or characters to wonderful effect. We saw it early on with Taxi Driver and more recently with Master Gardener (or movies like Hardcore, Auto Focus, and Patty Hearst), but to me, the pinnacle is First Reformed. The top three were not the only drivers providing entertainment in Sin City as there were similarly intense battles throughout the field. He protested that he was ahead at the apex, but that was untrue, and the stewards agreed with Leclerc that the move was worthy of a penalty. But Leclerc had other ideas. He hung on to Perez and as the race neared its climax he was on the Red Bull's tail as they started the final lap, and down the straight he made another great late-braking move to clinch second into Turn 14 at the end of the Strip.

Rather than dropping away, Leclerc hung on to Perez and re-passed him with a stunning late-braking move at the end of the Strip on lap 34. Easy A belongs in the pantheon of the great high school movies, alongside Mean Girls and The Breakfast Club; it really is that good. Riffing on The Scarlet Letter — the literary classic of which it’s a kind of inverted remake — it’s a sophisticated comedy of manners about bored, precocious teen Olive (Emma Stone), who agrees to pretend-bang her gay best friend to ward off the bullies. When others on the fringes of high school society find out and request the same service, she becomes a kind of imaginary prostitute, trading her new, falsely slutty reputation in for favors. The film walks the line of its illusory quandaries with a light, easy stride, and as a high school sex comedy in which no sex actually happens, it gets to be simultaneously scandalous and wholesome. Moon Knight's F. Murray Abraham, American Pie's Jennifer Coolidge, The Bold Type's Meghann Fahy, The King's Man's Tom Hollander, and Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza are among its sizeable cast. Taking its cues from William Gibson's book – yes, it's another novel to live-action adaptation for October 2022 – of the same name, The Peripheral stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Flynne Fisher, an individual who tries to hold the pieces of a fractured family together in a neo-futuristic America. One day, she's introduced to the titular Peripheral, a headset that allows its user to travel to the future. However, while Fisher believes this to be some virtual reality/metaverse-style videogame, it's anything but. And, as she traverses the city of London decades in the future inside this world, sinister forces start to emerge that threaten the present and future of Earth.Verstappen, after his criticisms of Las Vegas throughout the weekend - one for each day - said: "It was a lot of fun. The DRS helped a lot with good racing and the tarmac you could push on the tyres. It was a lot of fun. Norris came close to beating Verstappen at the Brazilian Grand Prix earlier this month, with the pair crossing the line ahead of third-placed Fernando Alonso by almost half a minute. The former is yet to secure his first Grand Prix victory but Express Sport readers believe that he could be the one to challenge Verstappen next year if he keeps improving at his current rate. The Midnight Club tells the tale of seven terminally ill young adults who, under the supervision of Rotterdam Hospice's chief doctor, meet every night – on the stroke of 12 AM – to tell each other ghost stories. One night, the septuplet make a pact that, whichever of them dies first, will communicate with the others from beyond the grave. Unsurprisingly, when one of them eventually passes away, mysterious and scary occurrences start to go down, leading the group to fight to survive. As a writer, Max has authored dozens of articles and papers on topics including how to improve and apply critical and creative thinking, especially about uncertain future possibilities; the ethics of biotechnology and other technologies that directly affect humans; the philosophical implications of technological transformations of human nature; and strategic futures thinking in business. He recently wrote the Proactionary Principle, the latest of influential pieces that include “The Principles of Extropy”, and “A Letter to Mother Nature”. He is currently working on a book, tentatively titled Beyond Caution, that responds to resurgent neophobia with a spirited yet balanced defense of progress.

As a bit of history, Dr. More co-founded and until 2007 acted as Chairman of Extropy Institute, a diverse network of innovative thinkers committed to creating solutions to enduring human problems. He authored the Principles of Extropy, which form the core of a transhumanist perspective. As a leading transhumanist thinker, Max strongly challenges traditional, limiting beliefs about the possibilities of our future. At the same time, he tempers visionary aims with analytical and practical strategizing. Max More has become a widely recognized thinker on the philosophical and cultural implications of advanced, emerging, and future technologies. Echoing the words of his instructors throughout his education, reporters have noted his ability to explain clearly and persuasively radical and complex ideas. Jim McClellan, in his major 1995 Observer (UK newspaper) article, said: “The funny thing about Max is that while his ideas are wild, he argues them so calmly and rationally you find yourself being drawn in.” It was reminiscent of some of the controversial moves pulled by Verstappen on Lewis Hamilton in their titanic battle for the title in 2021.

Russell was the architect of his own demise, turning in on Verstappen in their collision and not only earning himself the penalty but causing a safety car that allowed Perez to jump up into the top-three fight from a position that would otherwise have been significantly lower. Born in January 1964 in Bristol, in the Southwest of England of half-English, half-Welsh ancestry. Married since 1996 to Natasha Vita-More. After living for 15 years in the Los Angeles area, Max moved to Austin, Texas in 2002 and to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2012. Leclerc fought as hard as he could but the inevitable happened on lap 37 as Verstappen steamed past into Turn 14 with the help of the DRS overtaking aid.
