There are a few things that still slightly underperform against the well-established tablet manufacturer, but the Kamvas Pro 16 has more advantages than disadvantages over its closest market rival, the Wacom Cintiq 16. I feel that I'm lacking in my artistic abilities so always use a palette knife brush to paint, and admittedly I feel it now suits my style. My belief is that they are just doing the wobble test too fast compared to Brad Colbow and I, but I really can’t tell yet with how few people have the tablet so far so your input would also be helpful. The parallax is minimal thanks to the fully laminated screen, which reduces the gap between the pen tip and the display surface, resulting in a lag-free drawing experience.

Most of the gripes I did have with the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 were pretty surface-level; the plug isn’t included and the octopus cable is, as with many pen displays, unwieldy and irritating. On most of these non-Wacom screens there is a lot of space between the glass you’re drawing on and the screen below it.

But this is really comfortable and gets a closer feeling to paper (or to Wacom more expensive devices).Another HUGE improvement that made my day: Now the Huion pro screens come pre-laminated instead of having a crystal surface alone with a plastic screen saver apart (that ends un-sticking from screen and plenty of bubbles). Generally, you'll find her watching Disney movies, playing on her Switch, or showing people pictures of her cats, Mr. The lines at the bottom are slow strokes done with smooth increases or decreases to pen pressure in mind.

I believe this tablet is a very good alternative to the Wacom Cintiq 13HD, and maybe even a decent alternative to the newer Wacom Cintiq Pro 13. Overall, though, it’s a fantastic piece of kit and fills a previously gaping hole for enthusiasts and semi-professionals in the pen display market.The two bigger buttons at the top and bottom are unprogrammable with one of them being the power button, and the other being the function switch and OSD settings button.
