The event has been scheduled to coincide with the spring/summer season of 2023, marking 70 years since the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. This makes the celebrations all the more special for many. The ceremony itself is just one of many events which will take place over the bank holiday, with many more celebrations spread across the duration of the weekend. Read on to find out how you can get involved... From newborns to 100-year-olds, there will be a huge variety of ages at street parties up and down the country. It's good to keep people entertained with a quirky party game or two, with popular ones including royal bingo where numbers are replaced with royal-themed items or even a British quiz. The Coronation Quiche has been on everybody lips recently. Their Majesties have shared the recipe which feature spinach, tarragon and broad beans.
