Nightflight was my first "more expensive" buy in the early nineties, i loved the fragrance as i can still smell it in memory and as Couturegure says clear and wise, this scent is made in a era of remarkable ones instead of the mainstream scents nowadays. NightFlight has been my guilty pleasure for years, especially during wintertime. That's why I'm sad it's been discontinued. I'll give it a 8/10 because of the drydown and 12+hours longevity. There are better summer juices out there, but for the money it's a steal. I scrolled down and saw a guy commenting in 2013 how similar this is to mont blanc, and abercrombie and I havent smelled nightflight in about 10 years npw, and the other day i bought a bottle of percival from parfums de marley, and the first thing that popped into my mind was "this smells just like nightflight, just better quality".

This one has a nice name and it was quite fashionable in Central Europe in the first half of the 1990s.If this thing had tobacco then its name gonna be versace dreamer.I can see now where versace took his inspiration from to make the dreamer,not only the dreamer but ALL modern aromatic frags took inspiration from the king nightflight.Overall dreamer + sculpture=Nightflight Opens with a very sweet synthetic smell but settles to a beautiful addictive drydown which is extremely pleasant!!! This perfume is a fresh bombshell to day. Very fresh, citrus and a classic vibe 80s. Feeling mega power projection cleaning and fixing very good. Opens with pineapple and lots of lavender (zest) and a lemon tart well, gradually fragrance is slightly sweet, but sweet tone is a very discreet. Cai well on hot days. I disagree with Fragrantica citing Accord sweet as predominant. Who sees his olfactory pyramid containing almond, tonka bean, musk and amber can imagine that it is a perfume with an evolution rather oriental and sweet, but there's nothing like that not even in the drydown that sweetness is well contained. The tone remains clean all the time. I think until the floral notes are more apparent than the eastern.

Joop Homme opens with a stunning citrusy blast of mandarin, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom. Finally to finish in the base you will find the warmth of vanilla and sandalwood combined with an oriental mix tonka bean and patchouli.Projection: note 8.5 (projected well in first 3 hours, is all the time you smelled the perfume. Accommodation olfactory Nothing here in); It's a bit hard for me to digest. This was a perfectly approachable chipie that didn't smell cheap at all. Actually this fragrances is gorgeous and sexy.

This is good for spring and summer season and easily wearable in formal suiting. Projection and longevity is moderate. Comment: I think it was ahead of it’s time and actually fits more in this era. I imagine if D&G put this in a blue bottle calling it DARK BLUE, or a Versace called it an Eros flanker, or something of the sorts, I believe it would do very well in popularity and above 3.95 stars rating. Just speculation. Nothing off the charts but holding it’s own. Full of fascinating originality Joop! Homme is a celebration of masculine sensuality. The burst of cool, fresh spiciness unfolds to reveal a nuanced warm floral body and a strong, sensual oriental character.My classic (bought in 1997) 75ml Joop Nightflight was an intelligent composition, natural smelling, citrusy, fresh and amazingly stable in the heat. great musky soapy masculine drydown. This is the scent which planted the seed for Mont Blanc Legend and A&F Fierce, although it's nowhere near as bold. Considering how solid those two fragrances are, I'm surprised Nightflight is not more well known; perhaps it was just ahead of its time.

The whole picture i get from nightflight is this:Sitting naked in a pier hugging your loved one,gazing at the endless sea under the moonlight...Perfect feeling. This is easily 1 of the worst openings ever !!! It opens with a very synthetic sharp,lemony opening that smells like cleaning product you would buy at the dollar store. Nightflight opens up with a citric note accompanied by lavender and an extremely synthetic combo that I couldn't identify. Good for days when I feel extra confident and have a high level energy. On those days it gives me an extra boost.

I like this scent. Bought it because of the cool name, and I find myself using it every now and then. Nice bottle and great sprayer. I have better fragrances in my collection, however for reasons I don't understand this gets so much more attention and compliments! I bought this as a blind buy since I am super fan of the original "Joop!". Excellent, repeat excellent frag from Joop/Coty. Very fresh and soapy (in a good way. I personally don't like soapy frags except this one). I sense some of the same notes as the original Curves for men. Nevertheless, nowadays it appears about as modern as The Shamen or Stone Temple Pilots, if you know what I mean. I can't remember if it was before or after at least 5 Arab girls said hi to me in unison in Skyline College Sharjah.
