If after receipt of your claim form the product needs to be returned to us, we will provide a pre-paid return label or arrange collection for larger / heavier items, customer services will let you know how to proceed. Initially, it didn’t look like we were going to get a chance to test our waterproofs – with Dartmoor showing nothing but sunny skies for the first two days of our trip. The regular cut of the Downpour worked well for a wide variety of tasks. It wasn’t so trim as to limit layering, but wasn’t so baggy that it limited mobility. Warranty / Service

The Downpour’s Pertex membrane and waterproof zippers hold their own, but the face fabric wets out faster than most. By the end of our testing, we felt the Rab Downpour Plus 2.0 would be an excellent value for some, and not so great for others. The Rab Downpour Plus series is a lower cost, low-weight series of waterproofs, and I’ve recently had the chance to test a full set in realistic conditions. However temperamental and unpredictable the weather, the Downpour is ready to adapt and keep you covered. As previously mentioned, the hood is non-helmet compatible but has adjustment points in the front and rear, allowing you to tailor it closely to your bonce when it’s blowing a hoolie. Read our full test and review… Constructed from Pertex Shield, a soft, 2.5-layer fabric with a recycled face fabric, and a fluorocarbon free DWR finish. The hood is refined, features a three-way buried toggle adjustment system, flexible brim, and is helmet compatible with a hood roll tab for storing. It easily fit over a mountain bike helmet in recent testing, and we were able to efficiently store it away on the ride down to avoid excessive flapping. Sustainability & Durability An essential mountain focused feature set with updated styling make this a classic waterproof for a technically savvy mountain hiker. Waterproofing is provided by Pertex Shield 2.5 Layer with a recycled face with a fluorocarbon free DWR. Timescale to deal with your claim - for technical faults or repairs we use the services of the original manufacturer or nominated agent for inspection, testing and high quality guaranteed repairs.
