The Acqua di Giò Parfum bottle is refillable, with some of its ingredients being natural and sustainably sourced. I keep hearing how it's the best thing since the original AdG, but my gosh, that incense makes me drop like a fly sprayed with Raid, LOL! At its heart, light, aquatic nuances mix with spicier and woodier notes to create a natural interpretation of masculine sensuality. Let's face it -- Jeremy hyped this up mostly because he was sucking up to Morallis so they can work together.
I sprayed this on about eight hours ago, had an intense workout, showered, and I can still smell the incense and the ADG profumo base on my skin.It's just not the same anymore, it's time for me to move on and expand my horizons and try new things. If you don't have enough money to afford new flankers, please stop pretending like you do and leaving negative reviews just because you are SALTY that you cannot afford a bottle.
However, my first night wearing special blend it was very well received, even one girl walked past me and stopped dead in her tracks.That said, it is just a little improvement over the original AdG, and thus not unique, and no "wow" factor. I am very pleased to have snagged one of the last unopened boxes out there and am hopeful that the new Parfum flanker is a similar or even better interpretation of this. Let our powers combine (While reading this review please play Captain Planet intro music in your head). this is the question that I'm preparing for the next summer, because I want to put on on of these again. the opening and drydown is awesome, am not usually a fan of sea notes but they use it so so well, less salty and more sweetenss!
Off the top I get the bergamot and sea notes, but right underneath is a strong, heavy smokiness from the incense. Ingredients: ALCOHOL , PARFUM / FRAGRANCE , AQUA / WATER / EAU , LINALOOL , BUTYL METHOXYDIBENZOYLMETHANE , LIMONENE , ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE , BENZYL SALICYLATE , GERANIOL , CITRONELLOL , BENZYL ALCOHOL , EUGENOL , CITRAL , CINNAMYL ALCOHOL , CI 60730 / EXT. I had read several reviews about the Profumo and the fact that it was recently discontinued so I blind-bought a travel spray from a decant site just to have on hand before it was all gone. I don’t know what is ruining it for me but I an slowly learning that performance on a frag isn’t all that important - I usually like dark frags but this one is a disappointing super super boring to my nose. Acqua di Gio Profumo is an aquatic, aromatic, woody and spicy composition which is, like the original, signed by Alberto Morillas.Opening with an invigorating splash of fresh citruses, the Eau de Toilette is tempered by the lightness of floral touches. I'm glad that not many people know about this one, because then i will be one of the best smelling people who wear AdG in the world. The Acqua di Giò
