The hatred and fury of these captive entities burns like a forge, powering the infernal machineries that form both their prisons and their weapons. Compelled by the dark sigils etched into their metal frames, each Daemon Engine must serve its mortal master's will. The greater the daemonic entity, the more powerful the Daemon Engine, and the greater a weapon of war it becomes. Heldrakes were once noble fighter aircraft flown by Space Marine Techmarine pilots, though they are now something much more hideous. The dark energies of the Warp have granted them a form much better suited to the predatory role their twisted spirits savour. While all Heldrakes have sweeping wings and the powerful engines common to all Chaos fighter craft, such as the Hell Blade or Hell Talon, the resemblance ends there, for their aspect is one of flying daemonic reptiles or pterosaurs more than any ordinary aircraft. Company Details

Chaos Lord • Exalted Champion • Sorcerer Lord • Daemon Prince • Dark Commune ( Cult Demagogue • Mindwitch • Iconrach • Blessed Blades) At the start of the third battle round, select either Wanton Massacre or Wanton Slaughter; until the end of that battle round, your army (and every unit from it) is engaged in the wanton act you selected. Used in both aerial and space battles, the Hell Talon has a sleek form resembling an elongated double-axe head. Vectored engines allow for superior manoeuvrability. Superior in combat to almost any Imperial airship of any class. Its armament consists of twin-linked lascannons, either an autocannon or Havoc Launchers, and incendiary bombs. [Needs Citation]

The Heldrake is also armed with a single long-range weapon, a Hades Autocannon, that is located within its mouth. The Hades Autocannon is a massive six-barreled, rapid-firing Autocannon that allows the Heldrake to scythe down masses of enemy troops and aircraft with contemptuous ease. Defilers went up to 135 points (+15), but that includes their Reaper Autocannon (-10) and the Defiler Scourge is only 5 points now (-5), so if you take one with the common loadout, nothing has changed. Daemon Princes have a single listing now (still 150 points), and wings are a +35 point upgrade. So no major changes – the unit is still overcosted.Warpsmiths are now 65 points base, but that includes their Meltagun and Flamer. They still have to pay 5 points for the power axe they come with, however. Mortarion stayed at 490 points. This is a pretty good deal for the primarch, considering he’s T8 now. Chaos Space Marines • Havocs • Chosen • Chaos Terminators • Possessed ( Greater Possessed) • Khorne Berzerkers • Plague Marines • Noise Marines • Rubric Marines • Obliterators ( Mutilators) • Dark Disciple • Shrivetalon • Butcher • Cultists ( Accursed Mutant • Torments) • Chaos Spawn • FallenBlight Drone • Contagion • Foetid Bloat-Drone • Plagueburst Crawler • Myphitic Blight-Hauler • Plague Centurion • Plague Hulk • Plague Tower

During the first battle round, your army (and every unit from it) is engaged in Wanton Destruction. Exalted Sorcerer • Sorcerer • Warpsmith • Dark Apostle • Master of Possession • Master of Executions • Lord Discordant • Warsmith • Death Guard Sorcerer • Lord of Contagion • Malignant Plaguecaster • Plague Surgeon • Tallyman • Scarab Occult Sorcerer • Scarab Occult Terminators The Hell Talon, as well similar aircraft are presumed to be the products of a corrupted forge world Xana II existing within the Eye of Terror. [1b] [2] In combat the Hell Talon swoops low, strafing targets with lascannons and autocannons, and engulfing enemies in the superheated fires of incendiary bombs. [2] Technical Specifications

The Heldrake and Maulerfiend now include their base weapons in their cost, but are otherwise unchanged. Sorcerer ( Balefire Acolyte) • Warpsmith • Dark Apostle • Master of Possession • Master of Execution • Lord Discordant • Warsmith • Apothecary • Infernus Abomination Raptors are now 15ppm (-3). That’s a massive drop for a unit that was already starting to look pretty good thanks to the Astartes Chainswords update. Helbrutes got a very weird points change, which is kind of a nerf – they’re now 110 points per model, which includes most of their weapon options, but averages out to a net increase for things like a pair of fists (+10) or fist + scourge (+5). The weapons you pay extra for now are Multi-meltas (+5), heavy flamers (+10), twin heavy bolters (+10), and twin lascannons (+20), as well as combi-bolters, which are now +5 points instead of 3. The result is that most builds got more expensive.
