With over three years of work put into his inaugural LP, Diabolic rose to the occasion and let the industry know they had a problem on their hands. In the production of the British Columbia-based Engineer, Diabolic found the ideal soundscape to complement his enraged, often self-destructive lyricism better than one could expect. Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Sparks with their 1972 debut album, now pressed on super-limited red vinyl and presented in a first-time-ever gatefold cover, featuring song lyrics and brand new commentary notes from famed producer Todd Rundgren. Released on CD in April 2020 this 20-song set makes its vinyl debut on a 2xLP set, coming first to record stores for Record Store Day 2023.

Wine Hop, Drifting Blues, Express Train, Midnight Is Falling, Piano Boogie, Time When You Say You Love Me, Midnight Is Falling, Euclid Ave., Five Long Years, Wine Hop, Tell Me Pretty Baby Recorded live at GRAMMY® winner Arooj Aftab’s triumphant sold-out headline show at London’s Barbican Centre on June 17, 2022. Available for the first time on vinyl, and pressed on opaque red vinyl. An album to really lose yourself in, yet more concise than the sprawling Harmonium and more relaxed and freeflowing than the nervy rush of Entropicalia, Celeste could be arguably their most indispensable album and not to damn it with faint praise, their most listenable. This album has been out of print for almost fifty years, it is available digitally but there hasn't been a legal pressing of the album since 1969. Bastille: MTV Unplugged is a special performance available as a live album, exclusively on limited edition vinyl for fans as part of Record Store Day 2023.

This eight-song, never-before-released set was recorded at the legendary Ash Grove Club in Los Angeles over the Blue Summit weekend (with Freddie King and Lightnin' Hopkins) July 27 - August 1, 1971. The show was recorded not long before his infamous London Sessions recordings. That album was one of his six Grammy-winning Traditional Folk recordings throughout the '70s. Pressed on 140g white vinyl, and with extensive newly-written annotation by keyboard player Iain Baker, this is the final part of DMG’s all-encompassing Jesus Jones re-issue campaign. Blessed with a formidable frontwoman in Brett Anderson, a guitar heroine in Allison Robertson, and a pummeling rhythm section in bassist Maya Ford and drummer Torry Castellano, The Donnas were one of the greatest punk bands of the '90s, male or female, and brought a uniquely hedonistic yet feminist viewpoint to the genre. Now, at last, with the full cooperation of the band, Real Gone Music is releasing the first-ever vinyl retrospective of their early days recording for (mostly) the Lookout! Label, featuring 14 non-LP sides. (Real Gone will subsequently be releasing the group's four Lookout! Albums.) Compilations like this are necessary because they document bygone fragments of time and keep them alive for younger generations. Compilations like this are dangerous because they tend to fall in the hands of young bands who spend more time looking behind than ahead.” --All Music

Bastille have announced that ‘Bastille: MTV Unplugged’, a one-off live album, is set to be released on limited edition vinyl as part of Record Store Day 2023. RSD will take place on April 22, 2023. This year Bastille is treating us to their first ever live full-length album, and a pretty freaking notable one at that. Bastille performed for MTV Unplugged on November 16, 2021, live at Porchester Hall in Bayswater, London, UK. Their setlist consisted of 15 songs, including two covers. Now, just about 17 months later, the band is finally releasing their MTV Unplugged performance for the first time. Dan Smith says, “We’re so excited to finally release our MTV Unplugged show in full and on vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day. It was a privilege to work with some insanely talented musicians to put together these really different, special arrangements of a cross-section of our tunes. We added two new covers of songs that we love as a way of paying homage to the classic MTV Unplugged sessions we grew up on. The performance was not previously available and makes its debut on this vinyl release pressed on Galaxy Blue vinyl, coming first to record stores as part of Record Store Day. After seeing the movie Call Me by Your Name for the second time, I left the theater and I was walking home to my apartment in Brooklyn, and I just started thinking about the images of water and the romantic feeling in that movie. I was just filled with this intense jealousy and desire be in love and feel that way. Then I wrote the lyrics to “To Love a Boy” as a poem, and I sent them to Jesse Harris, and he wrote that melody, and I loved it. ItÂ’s about this dream reality where you could love somebody in an all-consuming way, where it feels like when youÂ’re swimming in the ocean on a hot summer day."New York Noise is a comprehensive look at the post-punk and no wave era, a short period in time whose influence is still immeasurable and sensed today.” --The Guardian The English pop band announced the limited edition print ahead of this year’s Record Store Day, which will see the band release their intimate Porchester Hall performance on vinyl. With this first ever vinyl release the artwork, designed by the legendary Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd), can now be fully appreciated. Recently they have been contributors to the Crooked Beat Record Store Day releases Recutting the Crap Vol I & II, and Songs from the Astral Plane, Vol I: A Tribute to Jonathan Richman, and they recorded seven original songs at the legendary Inner Ear in Arlington VA, one of the last bands to have worked there before Don Zientarra closed that space in October 2021.. It was a privilege to work with some insanely talented musicians to put together these really different, special arrangements of a cross-section of our tunes. We added two new covers of songs that we love as a way of paying homage to the classic MTV Unplugged sessions we grew up on.
