Whirlwind (I3) – Before you engage, you may remove any number of jam tokens, then you may gain 1 focus token for each enemy ship that has you in its Forward Arc . The distinctive experimental TIE Advanced x1 is Vader's unique personal spacecraft. Its presence inspires terror in enemies of the Empire. KYLO REN'S TIE SILENCER Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens in 34 ABY. Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi takes place immediately after the end of The Force Awakens.

Star Wars Helmet Collection 57 ( Highlights of the Saga: Leaving Skystrike) dates the events of the Star Wars Rebels episode " The Antilles Extraction" to 2 BBY. His detailed post-flight reports allowed Sienar-Jaemus techs to refine the onboard systems, with an eye towards the day when shipyards were to begin mass-producing silencers for the regime's frontline units. Minifigures

The Microfighters range began in 2014 and has since become fairly popular, although it does not usually receive very much attention in relation to other Star Wars sets. However, 75196 A-wing vs. TIE Silencer Microfighters really stands out this year, due in particular to the inclusion of two highly desirable minifigures! Advanced Optics, while mostly there for Poe, can be used on a Silencer for that all-important action economy. I would consider it primarily if I passed on Push the Limit in favor of Veteran Instincts or some other EPT option, as without it the Silencer is dangerously low on actions. However, it’s the same cost of Pattern Analyzer, which I vastly prefer. Turr Phenir is one of those fun pilots you never field. His ability may torment lower-PS foes, but his generally weak action economy, PS cap of 9, and weakness against turrets (and bombs) mean he’s got too many holes in his game. If only we could have gotten his pilot ability on a more beastly platform… The TIE silencer was named by the Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo. Although Hidalgo initially considered the name "TIE vendetta", he eventually decided on the name "TIE silencer", but kept the old name's initials ("/vn") in the full technical name. If you prefer quantity over quality, you can also take four FO’s with Juke instead of three SF’s with their gunners.

The ship doesn’t stand out until you look at its Configuration. Enhanced Jamming Suite makes the Whisper play differently than other ships. Jam becomes a central element of play. There aren’t a lot of ships that can jam, but even among those, jam is often a red action. But for the Whisper, Jam is not only white, but it is white after being a linked action. No longer do you need to choose between getting a die mod or denying your opponent a die mod. Focus and link to jam for both. Or boost into range one so you can be in range to jam. Ironically, with the emphasis on jamming, it makes the Silencer and Whisper want to swap names. The Whisper jams, ie silences, its targets. Here, a pilot's talent and natural instinct go a long way, but so do the speed and agility of the ship he or she is flying. And there are times when even the galaxy's greatest pilots may find it difficult to surprise their foes—at those times, it helps to have a sturdy hull and shields.

Armed with blasters and torpedoes the Naboo N-1 Starfighter can punch hard at ground targets and atmospheric craft. V-WING Brutally efficient in eliminating the Empire's enemies, [6] notorious, [18] and legendary within Imperial ranks, [6] Skerris was one of the Empire's most skilled pilots, [2] being known for that and his cunning, [18] in addition to being considered one of Skystrike Academy's best teachers. [6] Due to that status, Skerris was personally selected by Thrawn to fly the TIE Defender prototype and pursue Senator Mothma and her rebel allies through the Archeon Nebula. Flying his TIE, he was able to engage multiple enemy fighters without suffering damage to his ship thanks to its shielding. Despite his skills, however, Skerris' starfighter was disabled by Jon Vander, with Ezra Bridger's assistance, and it spun out of control. [5] Skerris had high intelligence and average diplomatic skill, strength, speed, and fighting ability. He was not Force-sensitive. [27] Zero is a number. Until there is a counter ruling, Whirlwind can remove zero jam tokens from himself to gain focus tokens.

The ship also has a sensor-confusing technology that allows it to be undetected by enemies, making it appropriated for stealth operations, besides being capable of extended hyperspace transit. The wings are equipped with laser cannons, heavy cannons, and a heavy weapons turret which has heavy lasers and mag-pulses. Kylo Ren (I5) – Before an enemy ship in your Bullseye is dealt a facedown damage card, you may spend 1 Force. If you do, that damage card is dealt face up instead. As the test pilot chosen to fly the TIE Defender, Skerris pushed the prototype to its limits in combat engagements, repeatedly proving the ship's potential in the process. The test flights he undertook provided sufficient data to create a new fighter, the TIE/D Defender Elite, [6] which possessed superior speed, weapons, and shielding to the original. [15] In 1 BBY, [13] Skerris was posted to [15] the Outer Rim planet [16] Lothal, [15] where the TIE Defenders [17] and the new fighter were being produced. [6] Being the leader of Thrawn's TIE Defender initiative, Skerris was entrusted with the testing and development of the new ship. [18] He brought the fighter to a remote airfield on Lothal. After exiting the ship, he was greeted by Thrawn and Pryce, who had arrived to witness a flight demonstration of the prototype performed by Skerris. [15]Still, much like Turr Phenir, this option seems less competitive and more “when it works it’s a hoot”. The TIE/vn space superiority fighter was created and developed for Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, [9] the eighth film in the Star Wars saga, which was released on December 15, 2017. [10] The ship was officially revealed on The Star Wars Show on July 19, 2017. [11] The TIE silencer was named by the Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo. Although Hidalgo considered the name "TIE vendetta," he eventually decided on "TIE silencer," but hinted at the old name ("/vn") in the full technical name. [12]

Impressive though the A-wing Pilot is, I have no doubt that Kylo Ren will be the highlight of this set for many collectors. This version of the fallen Jedi is based upon his appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi so features a deep scar and sunken eyes which look suitably evil. The head is printed with two different expressions to reflect Kylo's emotional turmoil, one of which looks fairly calm while the other shows the character in a furious rage! Skerris and Defender Squadron One operated directly under the command of Commodore Karyn Faro (pictured) during Thrawn and Vader's mission to Batuu. I2 mighty be handy for passing jams, as you’re more likely to move first so can ensure you end up in jam range.
