I just felt like I was missing something- because although the writing wasn't necessarily bad, the story was just really surface-level. And when considering the fact that there wasn't really a plot behind this book, that just didn't make sense to me.

Probably the hot divorce lawyer that we met in this book. I’m here for it. There is a scene where H kissed h in front of this lawyer. He acts like a caveman. the big teenage drama is nothing. The heroine finds out the hero told some lies to win her, and instead of being flattered, as the little prim prejudiced bitch that she is, throws a tantrum and dump him. Then she bumps into one of the other guys she’d considered. She realizes that H had told some fibs and manipulated her into dismissing this guy. The guy tries to tell her that H really cares about her but she’s triggered by his dishonesty and dumps him.
