Now fast forward to today, I finally got myself a bottle of CH men and it smells just as good as I remember it to be. This shouldn't be so good :D At first you get addictive grass smell, then you get mild tobaccoey fine leather, sweetened with brown sugar and vanilla, most of the time I sniff this I start smiling and even laughing out loud lol it's so good, color is silver/grey/chrome and brownish gunsmoke, bottle design is perfect in that regard. I'll put this and Bentley intense closer to each other in scent but this has better sillage than BI and BI is more heavy on rum. I have the new formulation and yes, you can't smell the grass on the opening which lasts for 15 min. Not so - in other words, if you have the ones mentioned, you end up thinking that getting this is redundant.

A gorgeous blend of leather, vanilla and syrup, that I can only imagine comes from the sugar note listed. I was so intrigued to smell what people had described as: a sugary, sweet leather fragrance with an interesting grassy note. At least make a vintage listing now since you ruined the current one- I dont want this image on my profile wardrobe.

Since this does the same thing I guess it isn't terrible if you're using it as a date scent or cuddle type scent, just don't expect to catch attention from 10 feet away. I'd still wear Le Male Le Parfum over this though, but if you want an alternative to that frag within the same ballpark, CH Prive is a solid choice. Performance on my skin is not as weak as some might say, but nonetheless, it is an intimate scent that projects within arm's length and would last around 6 hours. A legendary staple in every man's collection—with all the charm and class to be worthy of the Carolina Herrera name. I like this, the opening is unique for sure, for some reason the opening gives a cucumber vibe even though it's not listed on the notes.

Longevity is not much of a problem to me as this stays for 5 to 6 hours on both my skin and clothes, thus I would love this to have a better projection.They have leather and cardamom in common, so it's probably this pair that I find offensive, given how I hate cardamom. Amouage Memoir Men EDP is a great leather, spices, and incense fragrance; Bentley For Men Intense EDP is a leather classic, strong and good performance; Carolina Herrera CH Prive EDT is a fantastic, leather, and whiskey fragrance; Giorgio Armani Code Profumo EDP, is a potent leather, and slightly fruity fragrance; Guerlain L’Homme Ideal EDP features leather, almond, bergamot, and vanilla; Juicy Couture Dirty English Men EDT is a faint, slightly sweet, woody, and leather fragrance; Mancera Gold Prestigium Unisex EDP is a high-quality fragrance that contains leather, rose, and vanilla notes; Montale Aoud Leather EDP is one of the best cost/value leather and oud fragrances; Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDP is a super sweet, leather, and orange fragrance; Tom Ford F Fabulous contains leather, almond, floral notes; Tom Ford Ombre Leather is a modern and natural leather fragrance, a great one; Tom Ford Tuscan Leather Men EDP is a good leather, fruity and spicy fragrance; Carolina Herrera CH Men EDT is a very good and versatile sweet, and dry leather fragrance. I would say the fragrance itself is not offensive, therefore a little upgrade on its sillage will do wonders for sure. Solid 9/10 fragrance, masculine sweetness with a twist on the whiskey notes and very noticeable leather. hence why I would recommend getting a atomizer for this if you're planning to wear it for the entire day.

If you pick the reformulation - brown bottle, no ribbon - you'r in trouble because this amazing fragrance will last 33 1/2 seconds on your skin and 42 seconds on your clothes (produced after 2015). bottle, scent and performance, but the 2013 formulation was still quite good so I picked-up a half-dozen backup bottles. Longevity and Sillage is excellent, at least 4-6 hours past arms length you are able to smell this juice. Just because you are in the minority that doesn't notice differences in smell or performance or ladies' reactions does not mean the majority of us are wrong. The whiskey is a featured note, boozy, woody oak, sweet, honeyed, fruity, and spicy; very close is the leather, an intense note, with that gasoline or combustible nuance found in leathery fragrances although without any animalic or offensive roughness.After twenty minutes it becomes a skin scent and barely smell anything unless I put my nose directly on my arm. Definitely past 6hours in which I thought it would never last that long due to the past times I’ve worn it. The base notes are wonderful too, beside the leather and the two sweet notes, I can sniff some suede, cashmere and amber.
