The cover was so off putting and the story was not something I’d have chosen to read, but it wasn’t as bad as I’d expected. From the prologue we know who Twitch is in relation to Lexi. That isn’t a secret to us as the reader. What we don't know is Twitch has secrets for the reader to discover along the way. While you can write that a raw book is NM or higher, a buyer will not pay the same as they would for a CGC 9.6 unless you are selling a CGC 9.6 (or 9.4 or 9.8). And while you could sell it for cheaper, like at the price of a 9.2, you are leaving some money off the table for you. As they are like Yin and Yang, they need each other. If Lexi is drawn to Twitch and his twisted personality like a moth to a flame, Twitch is also drawn to her. He is touched by her love, her compassion. She makes him better and is his healing balm. The book was targeted at a late teen audience. It would appeal most to adolescents who were trying to find their way in life. It has all the awkward moments of by meets girls. There were quite predictable swings in the relationships – depicting how sustaining relationships needs energy. Taking a step towards me, his hooded brown eyes almost see right through me. “Monsters don’t always lurk in the shadows.”I think he was disappointed that he didn't manage to get the horrified reaction he was expecting out of me. In the beginning, he is stalking Lexi to hurt her. He is obsessed with her and wants to make her suffer. Twitch wants his revenge. He also needs to be in absolute control and the sex scenes are intense. Lexi discovers a side of her personality unknown to her. She likes to submit to Twitch's fantasies and domination. He will push her farther than she's ever been. He wants to debase her but is proud at the same time to see how strong she is. However, the shakeup of the intelligence apparatus has not removed some problems, especially relating to the overlap of agency activities, say experts. Earlier, RAW was the only organization permitted to conduct espionage operations abroad. Now, both the IB and DIA have the authority to conduct such operations, writes Singh.

Living your life as a vegan is extremely fulfilling as you’re always in tune with your heart. It makes you a kinder and gentler being. I haven't made a CGC submission in a couple of years, and since then the costs and wait times have climbed. Slabbing 3 books 3 years ago took a few months, which I found excessive - I can't imagine waiting a year or more like some people do these days. Belle and any author who writes a story likes this, will inevitably have some readers jumping up and down. I appreciate this style of story because it isn’t supposed to be a bed of roses. It is supposed to be dark and dangerous and deadly and difficult to witness in parts. That is what the author sets out to do.

Douglas is a celebrated author with some serious zest for cooking! With three books to boast about, his works have been loved by thousands of people. Some surprises in the narrative as it wasn’t a predictable redemption arc although the dropping in and out and having to work out the events that had taken place in between wasn’t great. So within this past year, I sent off my first ever CGC submissions. My first in February, returned early June. I have since sent off two (August and October) and they have not returned. He is gorgeous…Just not in a conventional way. He’s tall, a little over six feet, with a muscular body and olive skin. His dark brown hair is shaved close to the scalp at the sides, but long on the top. He’s handsome and would look something like a clothing model without the tattoos. He has a strong chin, full bottom lip, and high cheekbones. His eyes are a soft brown.” Le Swoon!

Raw is the perfect title for this story because it is raw and dark and gritty and imperfect just like the characters themselves. I love a tortured anti-hero and in true form, Twitch delivered! He is one screwed up sociopath whose mission in life is to get what he wants by any means necessary. A tormented and broken boy turned multi-millionaire business owner / smokescreen villain, he is revered and feared by all who cross his path - oh and he's hot too, with tattoos - A winning recipe in my book! ;) Brett is a hard character to like, he demands things, he never listens or learns, and you want to yell at him yourself for a lot of the book. He fights against those trying to help him, which is to be expected, but he isn’t someone you want to root for either. Just when you think he is starting to learn he goes and does something stupid again. It just makes you hate him even more. What disappointed me most about this book is how much I didn’t really like it. I adored Monk’s other book, Boys ‘R’ Us, and it’s a shame that didn’t happen with this one.

I plan to slowly sell off except for a few keys in retirement to keep me active. This makes me want to slab all the more. This cookbook is a massive collection of 400 recipes, which are versatile and nutritious, providing you and your family all the vitamins needed to glow like a bulb! It wasn’t overly bad, but Brett manages to get himself in a lot of situations that are sometimes his fault and others they aren’t. It’s a typical story that was enjoyable enough but not one I would read again. It has been on my TBR list for about 15 years so at least I can say I finally crossed it off if nothing else. Our heroine, Lexi swoons over this mysterious stranger, Twitch, who made his presence known by stalking her as a shadowy figure in a hoodie. He then inserted himself in her life when she needed him to rescue her from a dangerous situation.

Caitlyn Douglas is a young teenage girl who works at "Thompson's store". She often drops off supplies to The Farm. It is here she meets Brett. Subsequently, they take every chance that is given to see each other. I did like the ending. I know another author who showed me it is ok to do these type of endings. She knows who she is.
