The midrange of the S12 Pro version sounds a touch warmer and smoother compared to the S12, which a bit more energetic in the upper midrange register. The lower midrange of the S12 Pro version has a bit more body and depth when I do listen to male voices, violas or pianos, while both do offer a decent sense of transparency and resolution in this area. The upper midrange of the S12 Pro is slightly less highlighted and smoother that was relative audible with female voices and instruments such like a flutes, violins or guitars. There is only one thing you could get for your Letshuoer S12 Pro: a good source like a DAC/AMP or a DAP, I’d suggest something small and simple like the KA5, iBasso’s DC04 Pro or ddHiFi TC44C.The LetShuoer S12 Pro comes inside a pretty minimalistic rectangular box that is wrapped with a cardboard that shows the illustration and some product related brandings on the front specification at the bottom. I first bought these as secondary iems to use with boom mic cable. After the first try with Qudelix5k I realized these are so much better than my previous iems. S12 are now my main iems and Arias are my meeting/comms iems with mic. There is plenty of harmonic wealth and realism, the timbre is natural and colorful with great chromatic variety, you can hear the uniqueness of every singer's voice and single instrument. The 2-Pin connectors do have a metal housing in blue color that Left (transparent) and Right (red) color indicators. The faceplate of the S12 Pro shows a relative clean surface that has a slightly protrudes area near the top, where the front acoustic chamber is located.

Kaavik Unit variation is definitely a thing with these IEMs. I just returned a defective pair and got a new one. In using a newer nozzle filter that is what Letshuoer is doing to create a newer “pro” version by lowering these aspects for better balance but then you throw on a more resolving silver plated monocrystalline copper cable? You see what I am getting at? I suppose you have to be really into your cable pair ups to fully understand what I am talking about. Bright +more resolving cable = Brighter. The rounded shape perfectly filled my ears, and when paired with the right tips, the S12 Pro gave me a very nice experience. To be fair, they aren’t as cozy as a semi-custom fit could be, but I’d still rate them a solid 8 out of 10 in this aspect and I’d place them above all the other models I’ve reviewed this year Isolation You can listen for hours on without feeling listening fatigue even with poorly recorded or already bright material.
