Except Blair has some serious explaining to do when passion turns into something real. I really liked the overall story. The world-building - demon/witch aspects were interesting. Blair was a riot, and I loved that she was a strong and capable FMC who just wanted love and for someone to take care of her for once. Stevie was a sweetheart and, every now and then, would surprise me with some hilarious lines. And Dax was the sweetest daddy-dom simp you’ll ever meet. Dax was supposed to be retribution, but he turns out to be so much more. She’s drawn to him in a way she has never felt for a man before, but it’s clear Dax is so much more than the average man. There’s a mystery to him, and she’s dead set on figuring him out.
