There is an air slider on the side, so you can adjust from an MTL to a DL vape. My device only came with one pod (the XR DL pod,) but VAPORESSO lists the MTL pod in the kit contents as well. Hopefully, retail units will include it. The battery life is great. There's finally a smaller kit on the market that actually lasts all day. I do have concerns about the side mounted airflow toggle. It feels very loose when sliding to make adjustments. Once again the Axon chip controls a simple user interface, handled by the fire button and a touch screen panel. It also detects the best power setting for a newly installed coil. Or of course you can vary the output yourself.

When installing the pod the Axon chip detected 55W as being the optimal setting for the coil so that’s what I went with. Since the included coils are designed for this style of vaping the power has now doubled from 40W to a maximum of 80W which is adjustable. Each to their own, and I enjoy each style for their own reasons, MTL is lower power, produces little vapour and tends to use higher nicotine %/mg, DL is more for clouds and since you draw more vapour in (and out), you require a lower nicotine %/mg, RDL is a nice middle ground with a balance between the two, and I tend to vape this way when I want to limit the amount of vape clouds (indoors or in public spaces). Secondly, the connector itself isn’t recessed enough for my personal liking. It’ll probably stand the test of time but could also be prone to accidental damage.
