Fans of T M Logan will not be disappointed with this latest of his psychological suspense offerings. I found the main character became more annoying as the story progressed, and the plausibility went out the window a little after halfway.There’s a web of deception spun around Ellen so much so that she has absolutely no idea of who she can trust and there are some surprising outcomes there.

Ellen is an intelligent woman but it is her emotions and heart that lead her decisions where Mia is concerned, her protective nature comes out and ultimately puts her in some very frightening positions. Be sure to check out their reviews on their blogs (linked in my blog post) and mine as well at PhDiva. Ellen readily agrees but after some moments realises that the train has come to a stop and the woman has gone. I recently read ‘Lies’ by TM Logan and enjoyed it so much I decided I would have to read more by this author.I am beyond excited to have discovered this author, and now I’m even more excited to learn that he has another book out! Overall, this was fairly solid thriller but be prepared that you might get frustrated with the main character. Ben is obviously still aggravated and one thing leads to another with Joe pushing Ben but just as he should see if Ben is alright his son has an asthma attack so Joe leaves. The ending was one I never saw coming, and the entire read kept me on the edge of my seat, especially with its current and relevant topics of hacking and overuse of social media. That was how it started: giving a few minutes respite to a flustered young mother sitting opposite her on the train.

I wouldn't say I had the entire story figured out but I picked up on very quickly who was the character that was most guilty and frequently lying. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and had me quickly turning those pages, I just had to know what in the world was going on! I'd say I was pretty invested in the story until about the halfway mark and for quite awhile after that I just didn't really care as much what happened to Joe.
