Description

I bought the L’Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum in the lightest shade available, which is ‘Very Light 0.5-2’, which is designed to work for those that are the shade 0.5 through to shade 2.0 in their True Match Foundation. As we mentioned, cool undertones appear in your complexion as hints of blue or pink and will be categorized as C in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. Warm undertones appear more yellow or golden and appear as W in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. If your undertones are neutral, which means you have a mix of warm and cool undertones, this will appear as N in True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. True Match Super-Blendable Foundation is also categorized into five depth categories: deep, medium deep, medium, light medium and light. Look for the shade that matches the depth of your skin with the corresponding undertone. For example, if you have medium deep skin with warm undertones, look at the warm shades in the medium deep category — W9, W8 and W7 — for the shade that best matches your skin tone. The question is, how do you find a makeup routine that works with you to combat the elements – regardless of climate – without leaving you with either that caked-on feeling or with half your makeup down your face by mid-day?

Uniting skincare and makeup… yes it has a skincare ingredient, but I’ve already said above how I’m not sure how effective the HA would be in this formulation. I don’t find the formula overly drying, but it’s also not super hydrating either…. It does have a lot of alcohol in it to help it evaporate, so to me that’s a more drying ingredient. I agree that the finish is natural. It’s not matte, but it’s not dewy, so yes natural luminous is a good way to describe it. I will talk a bit more in a minute about how this performs on the skin and a product I think it’s similar to. I will also say now that I do love this product, it’s been performing well for me. The formula is just a bit confusing to me. When it comes to finding your perfect foundation match, the struggle can be very real. But we have a solution. Rather than filling up your arm with several shade swatches or just guessing which foundation is suitable based on your skin tone, we know a few shade-matching methods that actually work. They all start with choosing a foundation that offers a range across a variety of skin tones and undertones.I wasn’t ever that much of a fan of the original True Match, but this new tinted serum sounded more like my kind of base product, so I was excited to give it a try.

The L’Oreal True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Serum is the latest addition to the L’Oreal True Match collection. We’ve seen a lot of True Match launches over the years since the launch of the original True Match Foundation.

Colour Matching: Finding the right foundation will require a correct colour match to enhance your features and blend appropriately. L’Oréal Paris has the Virtual Try On Tool to help you colour match with our serum foundations to find the right shade for your skin tone, explore this tool to get the right tint. This evens out the skin and covers the worst of my redness. I do still need to conceal any acne I may have. I think the coverage is just right. Enough that you notice a difference, but not so heavy it’s like a mask. It dries down to be a natural finish, not flat, but not dewy. However, with this product, since it’s a skin tint, you need your skin to be dry? So I question how plumping and hydrating the hyaluronic acid would be. I’m no scientist though, so maybe there are other things in the formula that promote this. description":"Self-care practices can suffer during busy periods in life – and skincare routines are no exception. Multi-step routines are able to transform skin concerns and encourage brightness and strength, but when we don’t have the time to follow them consistently, flare-ups like dryness or dullness can occur. L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup offers 47 true-to-you shades that precisely match your skin tone and work with your skin’s texture for flawless results. With that many shades, there’s a match for everyone, and to help you find yours we’re sharing tips on how to determine your undertone. Whether you're using a foundation shade finder or your amateur eye, you’ll be able to find your foundation shade in this vast collection.

This method is bizarre — we’ll be the first to admit it — but we’ve seen it work. Hold a white piece of paper up to your skin. The white should create a cast of color on your skin. If your face suddenly appears more pink or blue, your undertones are cool, and if you give off a more yellowish hue, you’re warm. If your skin seems gray, you have neutral undertones. I have certainly tested this Tinted Serum extensively. I’ve worn masks for hours where I could feel sweat dripping underneath it. Bearing in mind it is not usual for houses in the UK to have air con, I’ve done a workout on the hottest day of the year, gone from muggy rooms to ones with fans. I’ve sat in a hot car with my air con off as I was listening for sounds as I thought something was wrong with my car. It’s been into air conditioned supermarkets and then hot outdoors, humid walks etc. Nothing phases this product. It’s not transfer proof with masks, a little will come off.

The 1% Hyaluronic acid gives skin a hydrated feel and smoothes over time, while the luminous mineral pigments give lightweight coverage for a brightened complexion.” Therefore, someone with “ medium skin tone” would fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Step 4: Combine undertone and skin tone depth to get your shade I really didn’t think the shade would work for me, but I’ve been surprised by how flexible the shade is, thanks to the more hydrating, sheer formula. id": "https://www.lorealparisusa.com/beauty-magazine/makeup/face-makeup/foundation-true-match-shade-finder",
