Description
The Red Concave Soft Shutter Release Button screws into the tread in the shutter button makes it easier to release the shutter. There are lots of different colours available so you can customise your X100 series camera to your liking with convex and concave options. Two buttons are included. Gordy’s makes some great full straps as well as leather wrist straps. The Gordy’s strap has more of a handcrafted sturdier feel. It’s a very high-quality strap and will not break on you like with some cheaper factory-made straps. The Domke F-34R 11in Protective Wrap is a simple yet effective accessory that can be used to wrap and protect your Fujifilm X100V so it can be carried in any bag without fear of damage. Velcro strips at each corner allow the Domke F-34R to be firmly secured around the camera or other item to be protected. Are you looking for the right accessory to go with that new scarf you got for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus/etc?
It takes 2 AAA batteries and is surprisingly powerful, and great for stoping the action when shooting street photography. Much better than the built-in X100V flash. I’ve not experienced RAW editing with this yet, but I did not mind since I enjoyed working with the images I was getting from the camera. I did utilize the in camera editing options more than I ever have before, but that was largely due to being limited to working with JPEGs once the files were off the camera. The first is a Tele Conversion Lens that screws into the original external screw thread on the X100 lens. I get this question a lot. It comes in many different forms, but it’s a repeated theme in the world of cameras: “what camera should I get?” In the end you should ask yourself a series of questions and maybe even give the camera a try by renting it or going to your local camera shop. Questions you might ask are:A Nano Slim would probably be the best option but they are a little more expensive and may be overkill for a lot of people. The nice advantage of the nanocoatings is they stay clean a little bit better. Some third-party batteries have had over-heating issues and at times have impacted the camera performance and functionality. Gariz has gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that the Half Case still allows access to the Focus Mode switch and terminal ports on the two sides of the camera. At the front of the case, there’s a raised ‘bump’ to increase the size and comfort of the camera grip. WiFi | Bluetooth | USB Type-C | HDMI Micro connector Type-D | Microphone / shutter release input 2.5mm
A neat touch is that the strap also has a reflective fabric woven into it, making it a safe option for stealthy nighttime shooting on the streets. This genuine leather case fits snugly to the form of the X100V body – the stitching is precise and strong and the inside of the case is lined with a softer material. You can now shoot 4k video at 200Mbps, so you might want to upgrade your card if you have some older U1 cards. You will need U3 class cards to shoot 4k on the X100V. Plus, once you’ve securely fitted this to the new X100V, you complete the process to make it a weather-sealed camera. The X100 series lens doesn’t feature a traditional filter thread. Instead, there’s a thread on the outside of the lens fitted with a soft-edge protective ring. You remove this ring to install an adapter ring.In general I found the camera to be an excellent point and shoot that grants a lot of control, excellent image quality, and pleasant to shoot with. This camera will be taken with me on many trips in the future. This NiSi filter system has been designed for Fuji X100 Series compact cameras and allows the use of up to two special drop-in filters. The Professional kit includes the filter holder which screws onto the front of the X100V lens, a 3-stop Medium graduated ND filter, a polarising filter, an IR ND 8 filter (3-stops), a Natural Light filter for shooting at night and a carry case. The filter holder can be rotated by 360° so you can adjust the olarising filter strength and the position of the ND grad. Aside from that, the filter gives you the assurance that you’ll not damage the precious front element of the X100 23mm lens – an item that’s not replaceable.
I’ve found that I can get through most situations with just two batteries and often I will only need one battery for an evening of shooting. However, I do frequently require two batteries.
Small Fixes
There are so many different brands of wrist straps that are great, but here are some of the best straps for the Fujifilm X100V.
To make your camera more weather-resistant, grab a UV filter and a hood adapter. It doesn’t have to be the branded Fujifilm one; there are plenty of choices available. This is a massive section but there is so much to go over since you will need a UV filter to weather-seal your camera properly. There’s no doubt that people love the Fujifilm X100 series of cameras – they’re exceptional cameras well worth every cent. The quality of image is fantastic, and on par for Fujifilm’s latest XF offerings. There is an obvious improvement in sharpness and chromatic aberration control coming from the new lens but the rendering is still close to that of its predecessors. Autofocus All fair enough! However, Fuji has developed some nifty little options for you if you want to expand the capabilities of the X100 you own, despite not having access to the regular X-series Fuji lenses.
