Description

Our Pima Cotton is grown in the coastal valleys of northern Peru and is believed by experts to be the finest cotton in the world, highly prized for its superb softness, brilliant lustre and exceptional durability.

Handmade Ethnic Clothing and Alpaca Clothing Handcrafted ethnic clothes for men, women and children We source our alpaca wool from the Andean region of Peru and Bolivia, where the alpacas roam freely in their natural alpaca environment, and the alpaca fiber is handspun by skilled artisans. The natural dyeing of alpaca fiber ensures that the color is long-lasting and sustainable, making it an eco-friendly choice.Alpaca wool does not contain lanolin and therefore needs much less processing than sheep’s wool. No harsh chemicals and very little water needed. These garments are generally sized for a normal fit, and not a compression fit. If a more athletic fit is needed, you can go a size down. Tumble dry your garment on low heat in a small load with other similar items - it will only take approximately 10-15 minutes to dry. Medium to high heat, or drying in large loads with jeans/towels is not recommended. Just imagine, a clothing fibre which is hypoallergenic, weightlessly warm, uniquely soft, biodegrable, recycable and extremely hardwearing (ie it doesn't pill and bobble) ....

Since Alpaca is a natural fiber with variability, weights can fluctuate from lot to lot. The weight of the Women’s All-Paca Hoodie ranges from 8 - 12 ounces, depending on size. Regular Fit” Style– Not too snug and not too loose. It looks great and allows for a full range of motion. Natural fibers perform at their optimal level when allowed a little room to breathe. Peruvian Alpaca is one of the most luxurious natural fibres in the world, supremely warm in winter yet cool and elegant in summer. Our Alpaca fibre comes from alpacas that live in high altitude locations in the Andes Mountains of Peru along with llamas and vicunas, many living free grazing at high altitudes, and also semi-domesticated living on farms. The clean air, richness of flora and fauna, and the unique ecosystem allow Andean species to thrive, and to provide us with the most fantastic fibres in the world. The fabric is very stretchy, so there can be some measurement fluctuations depending on how the fabric is laid out and measured.

We import our custom-spun yarn from our trusted partners in Peru - made to our exacting specifications. We require our vendors to hold Fair Trade, Responsible Alpaca, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certifications.
