I'll freely admit that I was immediately caught within its grasp, and remained spellbound from beginning to end.The beginning of the story started out really nicely in a whimsical fairytale sort of way. I thought this will be the next best thing to add into my Favourites shelf. I found myself reading and rereading the various passages. More than an image clearly formed in my mind, I felt what Agnieszka felt. I could have been her: Although you could debate whether or not The Deathless Girlscounts as fantasy, since it blends historical fiction with folklore and mythology. Without the man who raised him around, Rintaro has decided to shut down the family business, Natsuki Books, and move in with his aunt. This event thrusts Feyre into the twisted and mythic faerie world which she must help save from an ancient curse. The Atlas Sixis set in a world where a small percentage of our population have some kind of magical ability (think Harry Potter or The X-Men). There are magical universities for these people.

From the time Agnieszka is chosen by the Dragon to roughly her arrival at the capital city, I was thoroughly engrossed in this narrative. The second half of the book branched out (pun intended) into a more epic narrative, and to be honest I just kind of lost interest in it all. So I’m going to deal with each half separately and then render a final opinion. She’s a witch and can cause devastation with the magic of herbs.
