The UK’s new Animal Welfare Act launched; we continued to lobby for an end to the use of all wild animals in circuses. We supported an ongoing project to help Sri Lanka’s Elephant Transit Home rehabilitate juvenile orphan elephants, return them to the wild and monitor their progress.
