Description

The fact that there was really nothing to build, no special features or interactive elements meant that this largely acted as a decoration.

The box has a vertical layout, similar to the Star Wars helmet busts sets, with an all-black design and an 18+ age rating. The super weapon is perhaps an overused trope of the science fiction genre that Star Wars really paved the way for, but it's hard to deny the iconic silhouette of the terrifying Death Star. It comes with a whole cast of minifigures (21 to be exact), some being rare figures that can only be found in this set. Stormtroopers are very often in the Star Wars franchise, and they definitely deserved a better look. There is a huge rumour from a galaxy far far away that LEGO will be releasing an 11,000 piece LEGO Star Wars Death Star some time this year. The next floor has a black area over the elevator area, and serves as the landing pad for the smaller TIE Fighter. It includes Luke Skywalker (Tatooine, Disguise, Final duel), Han Solo (Smuggler, Disguise), Princess Leia, Ben Kenobi, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Emperor Palpatine, Grand Moff Tarkin, an Imperial Officer, Moff Tian Jerjerrod, R3-M3, 2 Stormtroopers, 2 Royal Guards, a Death Star Droid, 2 Death Star Troopers, and 2 Death Star Gunners. It looks as if the real Millennium Falcon was shrunk down and put right in your home to be displayed. There is a loading bay with red lights, a rack of blasters, and an entrance to the turbolift, a mechanism similar to an elevator which connects all of the set's levels.

The set is easy to assemble and includes all necessary pieces, making it a great choice for both experienced builders and newcomers to the world of Lego. The instantly recognisable, spherical space station of Death Star is an undeniable part of sci-fi film history and, despite their incompetence when it comes to producing a coherent film trilogy with actual heart and soul, Disney are still preserving the series' tradition alive by keeping the ever-so-impressive LEGO sets coming like The Mandalorian Helmet (75328).

Although the Millennium Falcon is known to be one of the fastest toasters in the galaxy, you definitely want to take your time building this smaller version and enjoy it! For both play and display, the cantina includes several mini-scenes from the movie that you can relive yourself. While there was some attention to detail on the sides of the piece, it was very streamlined and lacked imagination. The back of the box has the reverse image of the model, an indication of its size and a photo of the in-universe Death Star II. I wondered about the solid-red vs trans-orange on the elevator but as you saw I didn't have enough trans-orange left since I used them on the trash compactor.

The most obvious one is the green superlaser that utterly destroyed Alderaan in A New Hope, which appears much stronger this time around. Moreover, there are a number of weapons and accessories that come with these miniature versions of our characters. This set has the most minifigures released in one non-minifigure generic set ever with a total of 24. Inside you’ll find four numbered bags and an instruction manual – it feels pretty substantial for a GWP, as it does include 289 pieces. With over 2,000 pieces more than its predecessor, 75192 Millennium Falcon is the best possible rendition of the Falcon, featuring every area seen in the films (even if it’s missing the smuggling compartments). This was intended to be the ultimate Death Star and for many players and collectors alike it really knocked it out of the park.

Introduced at the end of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and a familiar sight throughout Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Venator class cruisers were the precursor to the Imperial Star Destroyer. When Rebel forces launched an assault on this Death Star, it was still incomplete; however, its superlaser was operational, and destroyed several Mon Calamari Cruisers. The creation of the Death Star II really cemented a new era in Star Wars, as the desperation of the Empire to grasp back control on the galaxy became more apparent. LEGO did great work here, even the classic hair works nicely here in combination with the detailed beard! With a brilliant range of Minifigures still available with the set, further playability and interactivity, and a little more focus on movie accuracy, there's little else that could be improved on the release.and is equipped with authentic details of weaponry, ground vehicles, nine minifigures, and is 25 inches tall. Newer versions of the set have newer head printings (with pupils and redesigns) for Obi-Wan and Han.
