This feature also allows you to utilize either the LEFT or RIGHT bud in Mono/Solo Mode, rather than being limited to just one specific side. Both the Sesh Evo and Indy Fuel are from Skullcandy are wireless earbuds — they sit snug in the ear. Neither has a loop that fits over the ear, however, which does make them both a bit more prone to falling out. But both come with extra ear gels to help you get an even snugger fit.

Price comparison

We have to give a few more points to the Indy Fuel on sound quality. They still weren't the tops on brightness and clarity. But we did find that the Sesh Evo was a bit flatter, and phone calls slightly tinny. You can also use each earbud on both styles on their own as a solo device, and there are media controls on each of the earbuds. Skullcandy released a slew of new earbuds, and of them the Sesh Evo are the smallest — and the most budget friendly. They're wireless, but without the long stem, and they sit like small plugs in the ear, no loop over the upper part. We tested them while running, over calls, on a laptop, Apple Watch and iPhone and here's how one the most affordable pairs of earbuds fared. The mic offers solid intelligibility. Using the Voice Memos app on an iPhone 8, we could understand every word we recorded, despite the usual Bluetooth distortion fuzzing up the edges of words slightly. The mic’s signal is clear andstrong enough that callers should have no issue understanding you on a quality mobile connection. Conclusions My Indy ANC is showing a successful connection to the Skullcandy App but none of the features are available.

Issue: The biggest challenge with true wireless earbuds is maintaining a paired status between both independent buds. There are times when the user will intentionally or unintentionally modify the connected states of the SESH® Wireless buds, this can create a pairing challenge as both the LEFT and RIGHT SESH® Wireless buds because they would then be in different pairing and search modes when powered on. This is an easy fix!Overall frequency response is decent — you get the lows, mids, and highs at sufficient levels where it doesn’t feel like anything’s missing. But the separation between these frequencies isn’t as cleanly defined as with some of the best performers at this price. While I did notice they slipped a couple of times, they actually didn't fall out, and I could easily secure them. I also like their size, as I've found some earbuds draw attention to themselves. I prefer — when running — to certainly have something wireless, but also something that's just simple in design. The Sesh Evo worked.
