It's heavy and has rubber feet on all four corners, so it doesn't slip or slide on my desk. I'd prefer to have routing options for the cable, but the centre position is actually fine for how I have my desk aligned at the moment. It doesn't have a USB hub which would be useful, and doesn't it have fancy LEDs which aren't useful to me. Filco keyboards are produced by Diatec Corporation of Japan. The company is based out of Chiyoda-ku in Tokyo. Diatec’s focus is on the Japanese, Korean and Chinese markets so it relies on distributors like The Keyboard Company to handle sales in Europe and the United States. On our models a diode is soldered on the printed circuit for every key switch to prevent from counter currency. Alex04/02/2022This is my first proper mechanical keyboard and Ive really enjoyed using it. The silent reds have worked well at keeping keyboard noise down when recording. Construction is great. I did make a couple of very easy modifications to the keyboard to make it even quieter. I pulled the USB cable out from the PC and swapped the keyboard for a spare, the good news is that I didn’t fry my motherboard or any PC components. Just the FILCO wasn’t working.

For me, a keyboard is like a carpenter's hammer. I use it all day, almost every day. This is probably the best keyboard I've every had (and I've over a dozen over the past 30 years). Don’t get me wrong, the box is made with good quality, strong cardboard that should hopefully protect the keyboard whilst in transit, it’s just a bit boring in terms of the unboxing experience. The most famous line of Filco keyboards in the West is the Majestouch line. The Majestouch line has had one major revision and many minor ones. There also have been a number of limited edition variants produced. Let’s have a look at the most interesting ones.Overall a good office keyboard which wouldn't be amiss at home as well. Not too loud but there is some light tactile bump

fangxianfu03/10/2016Great keyboard. First mechanical keyboard I've owned. Very heavy, good build quality. Doesn't move around on its own. It takes 1 week for deliver, which is a very nice performance, and i have to say that KeyboardCo and Royal Mail were very efficient on the delivery, and that's very nice. I got it with the Cherry Brown switches which are great in a crowded office; not as noisy as the Blues but just as pleasant to type on because of the tactile bump (in my opinion.) The rigid case construction gives a sure and comfortable typing experience with a specially designed font, for better visibility and a stylish and long lasting appearance. Filco is one of the most well-known brands of mechanical keyboards in the world, but not much is really known about the company behind the brand. In this article, we’ll look a little bit at the company itself and the various kinds of keyboards they’ve produced.Alex14/10/2020Very happy to own this keyboard personally, as I've been using one for work for the last 3 years. Excellent for both Mac and PC, although I may need to get some custom keys to show the keybind differences.
