I prefer Patio Magic as I don’t mind waiting for the dead matter to decay away naturally, and I know if I put it down once a year in the spring, that will be enough to remove and prevent lichens, algae, moss, mould etc. However, as the organic matter dies after the application, it’s simply a case of waiting for the lichen/mould/algae etc., to degrade and decay away – this usually takes around 30-45 days.
