What I loved is that he is conscious of using "easy to find" ingredients and once you've added a couple of extra spices and condiments to your cupboard, there is no reason you can't make every recipe in the book! Having seen John quite often on TV and seeing what he produces, often with very few ingredients, I was not disappointed when I received the book. The chef incorporates Middle Eastern cuisine with quick cooking steps, he offers beautiful pictures and introduces the readers to a variety of spices. Chapters include mid-week lifesavers, working from home lunches, banging brunches, easy entertaining and more.
