Description

My skin is normally quite reactive or sensitive to products but this was fantastic and from the moment it went on felt lovely. It contains AHA/PHA peel complex, fruit acids and liquorice to exfoliate while being gentle on the skin and is as effective as a peel. Warnings: Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.

It bears a close relationship to AHA superstar, Glycolic Acid that can be derived from it, so it's often claimed that Sugarcane Extract itself also exfoliates and brightens the skin.I can’t say that there was a noticeable reduction in redness (around my chin and nose are the main inflammation zones), but I do feel that my skin’s a bit more resilient for a few night’s kip in this, plus I needed less moisturiser in the morning. Some essential oil content is usually also present in citrus fruit extracts, which means a nice scent and antibacterial properties, but also some questionable compounds such as fragrance allergen limonene or phototoxic compound bergaptene.

But don’t worry – seriously – you’ve got this and honestly – skin pastes are pretty easy to get your head around. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. I have the most minimal evidence of hair-strand thin wrinkles, but this smooths that out and my face feels fantastic! The extract coming from the Sugar Maple tree, the one whose leaf is on the Canadian flag and gives us maple syrup. After using this for less than 2 weeks, I have noticed my skin looks tighter and has a more youthful glow.Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn.

You find the shelf, find the flavour you want and then realise the front row pots look a bit man-handled. Now onto the ingredient No7 Laboratories CICA Rescue Skin Paste takes its name from – Centella asiatica leaf extract aka CICA – a Latin nod ( cicatrix) to its historical use for scar healing. If you have combination skin, your skin’s surface – particularly your T-zone – will develop a build-up of excess oil throughout the day that will clog your pores. The masks have been formulated to deliver the type of results you would have needed to seek from a professional skin specialist. I have to use a prescribed topical treatment for my acne which can really irritate my skin, so when my skin is feeling extra dry or irritated I put some of this on before I go to bed and my skin is free of any dry flakes and feels really hydrated when I wake up! No7 laboratories have launched 2 NEW skin pastes – one for sensitive skin and one for dull/mature skin. Rather than layering on moisturiser in an attempt to combat those dry patches, or using an array of inefficient lotions on your oily T-zone, it’s time to get smarter with your skincare.
