That’s steamy too. And when I say steamy, the author made me blush and I didn’t think she could top the Maddox kitchen scene. She got over that. Wow! That was FIRE! And her whole drama about how her friend betrayed her? No. She’s got no sympathy from me. She knew the woman for more than 10 years. She was not a victim - she willingly wanted to profit from her friendship with that woman even if she treated her bad and the odds were 50/50 that she was gonna get screwed. I always, ALWAYS look forward to new Quinn books and fell in love with this one. It’s the start of what I sincerely hope will be a new series and I loved the vibe. It has loads of humor and great family connections, as well as the sexual tension that Quinn has ramped up with some of her most recent releases. Humour and great side characters are just what I need! 😉 the banter between these two characters was amazing. There’s no denying that they weren’t each other’s biggest fans in the start, but they always had the tension between them. And slowly as the relationship unfolded they literally sounded like best friends. I’m a total Huxley x Lottie stan.
