I was finally able to find a NM copy of this version, and boy was it worth being patient. This album sounds absolutely terrific on all fronts. I do not own a ton of DMM (Direct Metal Master) vinyl and I know there has been plenty debate on DMM vs. Lacquer. Most facilities no longer offer DMM mastering, and based on the timeline of this record, DMM was a fairly new offering from Masterdisk at the time.
