It's not often the panel of experts at Booksfc review books that are classics, or even 'instant classics'.

The idea of a sprite living in a moor like the one I live near gives me a feeling that makes me want to go and see if they do exist! There are magical beings, the Windvale Sprites, who inexplicably share the English language but little else with humans, but no magic occurs, save for the sprites’ treasured relic, which I won’t divulge the details of in the interest of encouraging others to read this marvellous book.

Though this is a tale about fairies it's not a fairytale in the conventional sense; while there are traditional elements this is essentially an adventure story involving young Asa Brown attempting to solve a centuries-old conundrum, and what he did after he found the answer.
