Togouchi Blended Japanese whisky is know as the “naturalized Japanese Whisky” because they import already distilled single malt whisky from Scotland and grain whisky from Canada. They then go through an undisclosed process to “naturalize” the whisky so that it can be called Japanese Whisky. Then they make their blends. If we decide not to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms, such decision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Togouchi is a blend grading 43 % ABV, made from imported malt and grain whisky, aged in a tunnel then blended with all the know- how of the master blenders of Chugoku Jozo and diluted with spring water drawn from the heart of the mountains of the Sandankyo Natural Park. It's available in a peated 12 year old and a no peated 18 year old versions, and will be soon released in a no aged premium version. To the success of his blend, Chugoku Jozo has recently filled fifty barrels to age in the tunnel to keep on the production of whisky. Hibiki translates as ‘harmony’ and the blender’s aim is to use those various whiskies to create something harmonious on the palate, and we think it achieves this brilliantly. Spend some time taking in its aroma and you’ll begin to appreciate the various elements coming together, with fruits, spices, floral and woody notes all present.Regardless of whether the Service offers the functionality to contribute, you are solely responsible and liable for any content and information that you create, upload, post, publish, link to, duplicate, transmit, record, display or otherwise make available on the Service or to other Members, such as chat messages, text messages, videos, audio, audio recordings, music, pictures, photographs, text and any other information or materials, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted (“Contributions”). Our Company Woltrix Trading Corp was born in 1993 out of the effort of our founders, fully aware of the opportunities for luxury products distribution existing in the Uruguayan market. Our commitment is to cater to the needs of the existing selective and demanding segment of the Uruguyan public by delivering fragrances and skincare with personality and quality matching their lifestyle. As we got to know better the needs of our target audience we put more and more effort into selecting new products that would adapt best to the tastes and preferences of our customers – loyal but at the same time demanding and requiring high quality standards and exclusivity. Much like traditional whisky producing nations Scotland, Ireland and America it has built a history that includes celebrated producers, big businesses, cheap imitators and distillery closures, and it has expanded to produce a wide range of styles. Japan has been firmly established as a whisky producing nation for many decades and, with new distilleries cropping up all over the world, it is now seen as one of the old guard. Amber Beverage Group will distribute the Akashi and Togouchi Japanese whisky brands in the UK, including five bottlings new to the market. The Togouchi range includes ‘highly unusual’ whiskies that have been finished in beer and sake casks

Amber Beverage UK (ABUK) markets the whiskies on behalf of European distributor, Whiskies du Monde. The palate on the other hand is quite offensive. It basically tastes like new-make with a bit of raw grain and butterscotch syrup. Awful. Whatever mysterious magic this sea adventure conjures up seems to work a treat in their lightly peated whisky, where delicate, sweet vanilla and soft smoke merge with zesty citrus flavours and a honeyed sweetness. There are also fresh touches of berries and a dry oak that seems to catch the flow of the smoke like incense and drift with a dusty dryness that lingers for an age. A deliciously unique peated whisky.
