Description

high school delinquent as well as the main protagonist who leaves Japan in pursuit of his love, Yumin and drops out of school. While in Korea he lives his life as a shut in for a whole year being not able to locate a real occupation. After saving an old man from being killed by loan sharks, he was scouted and encouraged to join an area gang(gondal) to work under Taesoo as among his underlings. After fighting against Taesoo, he was offered the job of manager rather. He declined since he desired to join the police force alongside Yumin but Taesoo finally controls him into taking the position. His strength and awareness of justice earns him the devotion of the local community as well as his gang. Ken’s parents were killed over the course of a Yakuza war when he was 13. The character design of Ken is greatly impacted from Vash of Trigun Manga. BAD BITS: It takes a while for the story and the tone to get set in stone but at around the 40 chapter mark everything feels more consistent and just better in general. At first I didn't like this, but there is a reason for it that you don't even realise until you're halfway through the story. Until that point though, the story can be a bit hit or miss and the tone can be quite inconsistent. My biggest problem however is the ecchi. I understand that Boichi drew hentai and I went in expecting some, but every 10 or 20 chapters Boichi will just feel horny and draw ecchi for a couple chapters. It feels earned maybe twice, but for the most part it can kill any enthusiasm with the current plot. Bleached Underpants: Subverted completely! The guy doesn't hide the fact that he did porn, even in a fan AMA, he said he'd like to work at it again! He moved to Japan in 2004 and stepped into the world of Japanese manga with Space Chef Caisar published in the monthly Comic Gum. Since then he has published many manga and one-shots.

Another factor is the plot, even though is not original it is still very addictive, the love story while not the main focus is also engaging enough and there are great comedic moments within it. Also, if you really look into it its got more depth than what you would expect. A special little addition i feel that should be mentioned is Boichi's inclusion of how hard he has worked on the manga. He talks about his travels to take lots of different pictures to use as references. I feel that it is a great touch as it gives us, the readers, insight as to how a mangaka goes about working on their art. It's a real treat to see the pictures he takes and comparing them to what he draws. A wonderful aspect of the manga that most certainly should not be over looked.

Intending to be a manga artist from his childhood days, Mujiki Park (Moo-Jik Park, ボイチ, born January 29, 1973 ) aka Boichi majored in physics in college as preparation to draw science fiction works and also to learn the technology of performance and imaging. He went on to graduate school to major in image technology. In 1993, while still enrolled, he debuted in a Korean Shoujo manga magazine. Since then, he is gaining popularity releasing a number of works, and publishing books on how to draw manga targeting a wide range of reader. He also published books focusing on the art of manga as well as the use of computer assisted tools. Beauty Equals Goodness: Played straight with the corrupt and cruel politicians and gangsters. Interestingly, characters also become uglier when their personalities get nasty. Deliberately Triggering the Trap: Tae-soo intentionally provokes Jang Yunchang to get him to send his henchmen to follow him so Marin can go find out their base of operations. Jang figures this out and sends them anyways, however also getting Ban Phuong to go and kill Tae-Soo. I Want Feed Yumin, a shojo styled, somewhat suggestive yet SFW series of sidestories concentrating on a character that could very easily be replaced by the reader taking Yumin out on dates to various Korean restaurants. Much attention is paid to ridiculously detailed descriptions of Korean Food Porn and how freakin' cute Yumin is.

I would not say that it had the best story but it certainly provides and entertaining story. its about a girl who goes to Korea to become a cop and Ken who is a delinquent who follows her which I find a little bit weird but who cares. During his time in Korea ken becomes a boss of a gang I found this to be funny but serious a lot of the times. Becoming the Mask: After the Idol group arc, both Yumi and Ken's friend in the cram house both comment on how he's changed/become more serious. Noticeably, Ken is hardly ever drawn in his less detailed, more comedic version after.Ken's a japanese delinquent. The kind that looks all rough and badass and gets into fights... but is actually real soft and squishy on the inside. Watch as he gets dragged into becoming a gang leader, saves prostitutes, beats up baddies, inspires some to join him, take over casinos, ya know... the USUAL gang related stuff. It all escalates at a steady pace (except for a few chapters when things slow down... a lot...) and it remains entertaining through out. I have to say the personally this is one of my favourite manga's that I have read although sometimes I think they go over the top with ecchi. Pineda, Rafael (November 19, 2015). "Kadokawa's English BookWalker App Adds 35 Manga Volumes from Shonengahosha". Anime News Network. Archived from the original on March 5, 2023 . Retrieved July 18, 2023.

CHARACTERS: I talked previously about them but basically, the main characters are good and enjoyable, the villains are dislikable yet sometimes understandable, and the women lose all personality when a man is involved.
