It's beautifully robust, and while the coffee note might be a bit synthetic at first, it's enhanced by some more natural-feeling background notes. Its bottle follows the same lines as those of the entire HALLOWEEN MAN collection, carved on glass with pure lines.

I have to say, that after being away from it, I sprayed it on and fell in love with it all over again. Initial spray smells synthetic but to be honest, that tonka bean sweetness with that mineral note give this a unique touch of freshness, rather than just a straight-up coffee fragrance. In the dry down the coffee is still the strongest note, but you also get sweetness from the tonka and amber along with a small amount of leather, whiskey, and cinnamon. I really want to see what all the hype is about Dior Homme Parfum, but apparently it's near impossible to get.Lasts a good 6-8 hrs on my skin which I rarely get, sillage is perfect, not too loud but those around you will definitely smell it. All these guesses are wrong because it smells like whatever cologne you want it to smell like with a hint of coffee. My wife uses coffee beans but neither Brasilian nor Columbian smell like anything in this fragrance. The smoky base notes of tonka bean, amber and incense give the fragrance its sexy, sophisticated finish.

So when you see someone yapping (probably in a nasal David Spade voice) about "its smells synthetic" just bypass the comment. It's really hard to find good coffee fragrances you can look at intense cafe and that's disgusting smells like roses with no coffee or you can look at replica coffee break that has too much lavender and a weird lactonic note. It smells good, the coffee note overpowers but I don't find the coffee note that addictive and seductive but it's fine for everyday.both of them lasted the whole day on me and i could still smell both of them after taking a shower till like 2 am, the profumo has a bit more projection but they were somehow still pretty close in terms of both smell and perfomance.

Though my most frequent use for it would be for early mornings after sleep-deprived nights, since the smell of coffee is an invigorating energizer for me, and this coffee-heavy fragrance sets the perfect tone to wake my body, mind and soul up.Bought this after seeing all the hype and good reviews it got, but I was really disappointed when I received it today. This smells warm and spicy with some amber and a tiny bit of cinnamon and coffee with some tonka bean and vanilla with cardamom and lemon in the opening which can be somewhat offputting at first but I got used to it, this fragrance can be a bit synthetic but with time it gets a bit better overall I give this fragrance an 8. It's really doesn't smell anything like SF Uomo ((which i love) and it has a very weird base smell to it that i really dislike.

I also understand how some people may say it smells synthetic to them, if you overspray this it can be headache inducing. The drydown is amber heavy, which yet again gives it a sense of airiness and helps it maintain that freshness; and thus the scent doesn't ever really transition into that gourmand territory. It's honestly the only downfall of this scent, it's decent otherwise but it just has that one scent profile that irks me.I understand why some people may get headaches, but personally, I’d say this is a fantastic fragrance, especially for the cooler weather. I bought a two bottle package that it thought was a good deal, but ended up gifting one bottle to a friend because i was tired of it.
