The Commanders

In the earlier or later game before (or after) some board wipes, you will have enough tokens to use as a base for other cards. Charstone - found in Nether Wastes in clusters, has a second variant - Charstone Vent which is dangerous to step on as it ignites and blinds anything that stands on it, so better navigate the Nether Wastes with caution!Stitcher Geralf lets each player mill three cards for 2Bl, after which up to two creature cards that would be put into a graveyard this way can be removed from play and an X/X blue Zombie can be created, where X is the summed power of the exiled cards. The only card of significant value in Coven Counters is Bastion Protector, a reprint from Commander 2015. Secrets of the Dead is an enchantment that can draw you a lot of cards during the course of the game. However, you’ll have to at least somewhat build around it (with cards like Gravecrawler). Just having Gisa and Geralf as your commander, probably won’t be enough to make this card excellent. As far as new cards go, there are some really interesting designs in this kit. Eloise, Nephalia Sleuth is a flavorful and mechanically interesting option for an alternative commander, while cards like Empty the Laboratory capture the polymorph dream, and Shadow Kin is just cool. He’s strong enough with his abilities, but even the additional oomph added by Increasing Devotion makes it a must-run card to drag yourself out of a tough situation. Our combos will either be using Wilhelt or Rooftop Storm. With Wilhelt and Poppet Factory in play, our tokens will not have decayed, which allows us to do an infinite loop with Altar of Dementia, milling our opponents out.
