Description

A new era of mobile music making on Android has arrived: iRig UA is the first digital effects processor and audio interface that lets you play your guitar, bass, or other instrument on your Android device anytime and everywhere. Like other versions of AmpliTube, it provides you with an amazing collection of virtual gear that you can use to create your own personal dream guitar or bass rig. I can just plug my guitar straight into my phone's headphone jack using an adaptor, why do I need this? As it’s the only thing that resides in the box the bag is a bit superfluous but I’m assuming it has its own purpose when the cables are sitting in a bin awaiting their boxception.

And, since we pioneered the mobile music revolution and invented the mobile guitar interface way back around the dawn of prehistoric smartphone times, we know a few things about playing guitar on the go. It features a built-in 32-bit digital signal processor, a 24-bit A/D converter, a crystal clear low-noise preamp and an ultra-compact enclosure. Just get a USB to Micro-USB cable and you'll be ready to play, process and record with the full power of your favorite music creation software. IK Multimedia has an ongoing promo through July 2016 where you can get AmpliTube 4 Deluxe for free with the purchase of an IK guitar interface. We advise you to update to a currently supported browser (such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox) to improve your security, speed, and overall experience.Explore ToneNET and IK’s new TONEX Signature and Tone Partner Collections and discover gear you’ve always wanted to own. iRig UA features a 1/4'' input for a guitar, bass or other line-level instrument, a micro-USB to OTG cable and an 1/8'' headphone output with volume control. The leaders and pioneers of mobile music making now bring you another breakthrough in mobile guitar interfaces — the iRig HD 2, the next generation of the immensely popular iRig HD interface. FYI, you have to mind the case on the letters as it IS case sensitive as I found out to my dismay when it failed the first time. Now you can enjoy high-quality real time effects processing on your Android device no matter whether it’s from Samsung, Sony, Motorola, LG, HTC, Xiaomi or any other popular manufacturer.

On the other side of the leaflet is the serial number for registering your device along with a QR code which will bring up the registration page in your browser (with the serial info pre-filled presumably) although I registered from within AmpliTube by filling in the pertinent info manually.

Unglaublicher sound im Vergleich zu den Geräten von früher, die eine verzerrte E-Gitarre simulieren wollten. IK’s product pages don’t do a very good job of explaining the differences between the two, and other retailers’ pages leave out key details and they often have them miscategorized under iOS interfaces. Although it is a 3rd party driver, we have tested it in several Windows configurations with good results.

For someone working in an office environment where you have a desk and somewhere to put a pair of full sized headphones that won’t result in them getting full of detritus, rock on! Now that we’ve made a brief run through of the device and the features of the software, here’s where subjectivity comes in.Class-compliant support for USB audio interfaces (essentially an external sound card) has long been baked into iOS via the USB camera connection kit for iPad, meaning that a wide range of audio devices can be used with that platform's plethora of musical apps. A new era for making music on Android has arrived: iRig UA is the first digital effects processor and interface to allow universal near-zero latency processing with AmpliTube on all Android devices compatible with Android 4.

There's also a micro USB port for hooking up the iRig UA to your device (it's entirely bus-powered) and an input LED to show you when then input signal is too high and the audio starts clipping. iRig HD 2 fits easily in your pocket and connects directly to your Lightning and USB devices – so no matter which iPad, iPhone, Mac or PC you have, you’re ready to rock at a moment’s notice. While guitar amplifier modelling has come a long way over the last few years, unfortunately the iRig UA is still a few steps behind. The IK Multimedia iRig UA is a universal digital guitar effects processor and interface for Android devices, offering near-zero latency processing with the included AmpliTube UA guitar and bass multi-effects app. You can also use this output to send a stereo signal out to a mixing console or a pair of powered monitors like iLoud Micro Monitor. It pairs with AmpliTube UA to deliver unmatched sonic performance when used with any smartphone or tablet with Android 4. This is a excellent piece of hardware that will benefit from a wide range of apps, but they just aren’t there. and above, and connecting via USB OTG, the iRig UA is a multi-effect DSP that allows you to hook up your guitar or any other input, and parse effects on the phone directly. Limited or not, class-compliant support means that third parties can finally build audio interfaces for Android that work with a wide range of devices. That’s why I was intrigued by IK Multimedia’s newest iRig UA guitar interface for Android, as well as AmpliTube UA (for future reference I’ll be referring to the device as the UA, and the software that goes with it simply as AmpliTube, although please don’t mistake it for the PC version).
