The idea of a sprite living in a moor like the one I live near gives me a feeling that makes me want to go and see if they do exist! There are magical beings, the Windvale Sprites, who inexplicably share the English language but little else with humans, but no magic occurs, save for the sprites’ treasured relic, which I won’t divulge the details of in the interest of encouraging others to read this marvellous book.
