Bobby Brazier's Strictly tribute to Jade Goody moves judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and actor's father Jeff to tears

The host was Jo Quinton-Tulloch, Director of the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford, who spoke about the collective ambition across the Science Museum Group ‘to be bold and inspirational’ and harness ‘groupness’, where the group is greater than the sum of its five museums.Vitabiotics was the first company to introduce magnesium in the calcium formula Osteocare in 1989. Osteocare stands as Britain's best selling calcium formula for bone health. He has assisted the Beacon Fellowship for the 3rd year in 2005 by funding the advertising campaign in Asian Media to boost its awareness for the fellowship amongst Asians.

Now, however, a new book written by an Anglo-Indian challenges this notion. It asserts that in fact Britain laid the foundations for modern-day India and the prosperity that it enjoys today. Robert Pattinson was deemed not 'attractive enough' to play Edward in Twilight franchise reveals director: 'He was kind of out of shape' SARAH VINE: Royal biographer Omid Scobie may be a leech... but the treachery of Harry was so much worse Dr Lalvani, through his Osteocare brand, is a keen supporter of The National Osteoporosis Society (NOS). Among Britain's great institutional legacies, according to Dr. Lalvani, wasthe Indian Civil Service which was properly established after the Mutiny, and whose "unselfish and ceaseless toil" enabled fewer than 1,000 togovern a country of 500 million people. He goes onto make a quiteremarkable statement: "The ICS was by any measure the most efficientbureaucracy in world history". High praise indeed but difficult for anyoneto substantiate. However it will thrill those still around to read such praiseand will no doubt please their descendants. My own experience, not asambitious, but relevant, having worked in many countries since the end of the war, has been that British colonial administration possessed acompetence and integrity unmatched by any other public service in theworld in the 20th century.Lalvani was born to a Sindhi Sikh family in 1931 in Karachi. [1] Lalvani's father was the owner of pharmacies in Karachi, Sind before the partition of India. [2] His family moved to Bombay after partition, where he was raised and educated. [1] He was one of nine brothers and sisters. He first came to London in 1956 to study pharmacy and went on to complete his doctorate from the University of Bonn. [3] His family subsequently migrated to London during the 1960s. [1] Absolutely excellent: informative, well argued and passionate. This book contains the seeds of future Anglo-Indian cooperation.
