We have spent Christmas in many destinations over the years, but London is one of our favourite places over the festive period! While most seasonal activities are included with entry throughout December, the Zoo’s “Meet Santa” sessions only take place on certain dates and need to be booked in advance and paid for separately. Avon Valley Railway During the holidays, Kew Gardens is transformed into one of London’s most magical winter wonderlands, with an amazing festive light trail and tasty street food of Christmas at Kew– often with the chance to see Santa Claus along the way.Don’t ask me where the parents sleep. It’s not as large as the Winter Village Cottage, but makes clever use of the available space, and manages to avoid feeling too cramp. Unfortunately, this also means no Christmas Tree on the inside, which is a bit of a bummer. Enjoy a train ride through the Winter Woodlands accompanied by movies and Christmas markets. After that you will meet Santa and then have the option to enjoy some family festive dining at the luxurious spa and resort. The Lakeside Shopping Centre offers the ideal Santa’s Grotto experience for any children excited to meet Father Christmas himself. For anyone living in Essex, this is probably the best one around, so it’s definitely worth giving a look into! With over 300 shops and attractions, it’s got something for the whole family as well as the Big Man. Speaking of iconic, there are few places more so than the white cliffs of Dover – and Dover Castle just so happens to sit right atop those cliffs, far up from the crashing waves below. Dover Castle on its own would be a unique experience, but a Santa’s Grotto in the gorgeous location is not only unique – it’s unforgettable.

4. Santa’s Grotto at Alexandra Palace

Build [4]– A very fun and engaging build that was super relaxing. Not too challenging, but mostly chill. These different John Lewis events occurred in various London stores from Kingston to Oxford St and Brent Cross to Canary Wharf.

The reindeers will be the big barn and you can learn all the interesting facts and maybe feed them some food, Finding the perfect Santa’s Grotto in the UK in 2023 is a little harder having just had that amazing experience, but there are some great 2023 Santa visits to choose from. Walking through his 150ft magical grotto will be open for everyone to enjoy all the beautiful scenes That or, you could also opt for the 40499 Santa’s Sleigh set, which also has dual-moulded legs, but I’m not sure if the torso and head are the same.

Aimed at kids aged 2-8, there’s a brand new grotto for 2023, with elves to welcome you to his elf workshop and treats to take home. Designed by Chris McVeigh, who did last year’s Elf Clubhouse, as well as the 2021 Modular Police Station, Chris has imbued this set with his own unique style, and included some really personal touches to make it his own.
