Quality, as you’d imagine is one of the most important considerations for buying any products. This is especially true for Dough and modelling toys. Continuing doing this with the remaining two colours. Grace found this so therapeutic, she just sat and played for ages, completely silent enjoying the combining of materials. With that in mind, we wanted to really explore and analyse the price of So Sand DIY So Sand Ball Kit to see how cheap you can get it, but also see how it compares to other products. To do this we looked all the products available in the “Dough and modelling toys” category, as well as looking at the products available from the brand So Sand DIY.

The whole idea of the products is the Magic Sand. If you haven’t seen or heard of this before then it is a sand based product which holds its shape and can be moulded or cut. It can be squeezed through your hands and feels oddly satisfying. Its like wet sand but without the mess! This is what creates the ASMR, being able to do things that you didn’t think possible and allowing your child to create and shape whatever they can think of. Our Experience… It’s time to get creative and take your imagination to another level. Thanks to So Sand DIY, it’s now possible to create your own magic sand from scratch and enjoy 100% AMSR satisfaction. Designing your own magic sand makes it easy to enjoy the fantastic sounds as you cut and mould your unique magic sand creations. Aimed towards children aged 6+, the new line is offering the chance to move magic sand away from pre-school and into its own sector under the arts and craft umbrella. The So Sand DIY is brightly coloured and attractive to the eye. The tools for the different shapes and activities are easy to use for tiny hands. There are no sharp edges, small parts or finger traps so minimal adult supervision needed for the older children in our family – an added bonus for the adults. The dual function hand-held tools are an ingenious way of keeping the children’s interest. The children took some time to feel confident using the moulds but once mastered there was no stopping them. I also loved the fact that this was such an easily transportable toy. Being able to store everything in the compact and neat outer ball with the handle meant my daughter could carry it around and take it to her nannys or even easily take it on trips out to keep her ent ertained on journeys or holidays. After that, we worked out how many products were more expensive or cheaper. From the 41 products, 26 cost more and 13 cost less than So Sand DIY So Sand Ball Kit. Prices from So Sand DIY

Then mix all the glitter into the sand by kneading it like before . Then your done you can now explore all the different tools and cutting equipment that came with the set. The first factor that you can look at is the brand. Often we can get a really good understanding of the quality of toys and other gadgets by just looking at the brand. There are some brands that are really well known for great quality, whilst others might be better known for value.(and some are known to be poor in both areas).

So the first step is to look at the price of So Sand DIY So Sand Ball Kit. Here we run a search to find the price of products that we review. If it’s a product offered by lots of retailers then we get you the best price. If it’s only offered by one retailer then we find you the latest price. Some brands are better known for delivering great quality, and as you’re on our So Sand DIY So Sand Ball Kit review you’re probably already well aware of how good quality So Sand DIY Dough and modelling toys are. Based on that price, when we compare it to the other options available, we’ve given it a price score of 9.9 out of 10. Dough and modelling toys category average cost The So Sand Satisfying Sand Case is a handy carry case with a selection of cutting tools, bags of sand and decorations. The instructions are easy to follow, you make up your own brightly coloured kinetic sand. Now our sand was made, we can choose the additional accessories to create fun coloured sand. Creating cakes So Sand DIYIt’s so easy to make the sand and takes all of a few minutes. You start by opening the bags of sand and stretch it out. Then add the colour into the middle of the sand. Yes, the girls had great fun creating their own rainbow cakes – where they sensationally scented? No. Yes, the kit kept them entertained for a good couple of hours but can they use it again? No. Not unless they just want to build a bog standard sandcastle shade cake. No rainbow sand here. The sand was easy to ‘sweep’ up but rather than saving it, we’ve donated it to the pit in the garden and added the tools to our Playdoh collection. What’s great to see, is everything comes in the vanity box. You can open and get started straight away. A great toy for encouraging children’s social learning, through sharing and listening. The So Sand DIY is also an interesting mix of formal and imaginative play. It provides opportunities for children to act out scenarios together, promoting both language and motor skills.

Once made up the "magic" sand is easy to work with. The cleverly thought through storage accessories keep the moulds and tools organised. At first I thought "why include a plastic cup"? But once the children started to play they loved being able to use it with the hand tools to stamp out patterns on the sand. We opened the white sand, and then poured the yellow colour on and kneaded these together to create the white sand to be all yellow. Thank you for reading our So Sand DIY So Sand Ball Kit review tips and guidance. As we mentioned earlier, if you do go on to buy one of these products mentioned, please do drop us a comment as it will be great help to other customers like you. So there you have it. If you’re looking for a one off activity to fill a few hours then it works and it will be enjoyed. If you’re looking for something with lasting power, it’s not for you. (editor’s note – this is the reviewer’s opinion) I’d definitely consider weighing up the cost against the creative content and the children in question.

They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. The first thing we should say before we get really into the detail on the price, is to get you to think about a budget. Budgeting is a really key part of the buying process, as without a budget you might end up blowing a lot more money than you had planned to. So take a look at your finances and get a bit of an idea of how much you are willing to spend before you take too much time shopping around. Price I was amazed at how the So Sand DIY stimulated the children’s imagination and encouraged them to role-play their own stories. One example being making cones then serving different coloured "ice-cream" on a visit to the seaside. They, like the adults, looking forward to the summer months ahead. Overall I really liked the So Sand DIY set . The children played with it for ages which is a bonus. Plus when they are finished playing I liked the fact that it came with a tub I could put the sand in.

You can’t beat a video review. As we mentioned earlier, one of the downsides to buying online is the inability to actually see and test the product. This is where videos can really help to bridge the gap and give you an almost just as good alternative. Grace has always loved crafting, and no surprise when it comes to sand she just loves to make a mess. So when we was asked to review the SO Sand DIY vanity case she really couldn’t wait to get started. If the price appears to be significantly lower than you’d expect for the sort of product you’re buying, then you’d be wise to start looking in a bit more detail at other indicators of the quality. At the moment I’m always on the lookout for something new and exciting to entertain the kids . For my two if it’s a sensory activity it’s going to be a winner and one they will want to play again and again . Last week we were sent the So Sand DIY set . Which has been out nearly every day since we have had it and they haven’t got bored of it .

The included instructions were easy to follow and once I’d run through them with the girls, I was able to leave them to it; pouring, squishing, shaping, decorating and slicing their very own sand rainbow cakes. They filled a mould each with layers of the coloured sand, rolled the white sand into icing, used the mini-mould to create a piped icing effect and then showed me their finished masterpieces, before cutting them into pieces and serving on plates from their toy tea set. The next step for us is to look at the products in the Dough and modelling toys category. In this category we found 41 product at Argos. Or take a look at the great range of So DIY Slime Shakers, Bath Bomb Factory and DIY Tree Growing you can see how much fun we have had! However Ava really enjoyed this part.
