One tiny, teeny downside, though — when I was taking Accutane for my acne, this wasn’t such a good match for my skin. My skin was very dry and flaky and I found that this product clung to any dry patches — but in all fairness, I found that to happen with most products I tried at that stage. Anyway, I’d say this is worth using with caution for those with very dry skin. My normal skin type is normal-oily and slightly acne-prone (yep, even now) and it works perfectly again now. But this used to do the job perfectly. Once blended out (gently) with a small sponge, you couldn’t see any transition between the concealer and my bare skin. I’d then just set over where I’d applied concealer very lightly with a translucent powder. It was such a relief to find something that meant I could hide my spots, but keep my real skin shining through. To sculpt and contour, use a concealer 1-4 shades lighter than your skin tone to highlight, & another 1-4 shades darker to contour.
